Yeah, this should be fun, despite certain annihilation.

^I think everybody stands a fair chance even if someone like me is facing a parkmaker, both still have to deliver something finished, I think that a lot of players will have trouble with getting very detailed work in 2weeks so I think everything can happen.

Honestly I don't think I'll survive the first round but if I do, the person that beats me better wins this whole thing ^^.

I think I would stand a better chance if it weren't for the fact that I build so damn slowly. But I guess working with a short deadline is a good thing (never worked with deadlines before in RCT), it forces me to improve my effectiveness when building.

Don't forget that what you are creating doesn't need to be large. All you are building is a 'mini' design. Coaster & theming with small surroundings.

Obviously you can build bigger than this, but i'm just saying it doesnt need to be big.

Download some of the old QFTB-X entries for size etc.

I haven't worked on a deadline in RCT since H2H, so hopefully this will work out well. ( I mean it took almost 50 RCT years to finish Draca how I wanted it).

you just don't have that time in a span of 2weeks unless you haven't got a life basically....

for instance I have a job starting up monday and a girlfriend who naggs my ears of when I play too much so I'll have to work on it every second I'm not working or with my girlfriend so I don't expect to have very detailled work in 2weeks...

Alright, I'm back. One of the main reasons we had a lengthy sign-up period was because my absence, but seems like Louis kept you pretty cool. I would like to address some minor issues I've seen.

Cena, seriously. shut up. I don't have the slightest fucking idea why you've become so cocky as of late, but seriously, shut up. I can finish something in two weeks, hence why it was my idea to have each deadline be just that. I'd be more worried about you with your little custom object fetish, as we're taking this old school with supplied benches.

My bad for jumping all over you man, but seriously, you've got to take it easy sometimes. This is a community run contest, learn to have a little fun with it.

Now like I said, two weeks is the set deadline, so if you really don't think you can build much in that time, then just try it out, finish as much as you can, and send it in.. the entries aren't even close to the standard of designs (size-wise, that is), so just build the coaster/ride, theme it up a bit, and voila, you're done.

Now, with less than a day to go until the contest begins, please enjoys yourselves. This is just a contest to break up the standard day-to-day events at NE so just have fun with it.

Cena, I'm not going to remove you just yet, but I do want you to know that if you quit and want to join back, there is no spot waiting for you, the roster will move up and you will be replaced by someone in the reserves.

As of now there is a 24 hour public vote on the bench issue.Whether you want to keep a set bench (which is simply a handful of benches in which you can interchange objects between them, each being a standard bench used by the majority already), or the option to make a custom bench... have fun.

Set benches. Old school is my style.

nin, I will let you know my answer after the poll has ended, if I quit particpating, you still have plenty of time to select someone to fill in the gap.

Please use the link above to vote on your bench preference. 3 options, that being:

1. Create your own bench
2. Use a set of standard benches with the option to interchange objects (ex. PT3, geewhzz's, H2H5, etc.)
3. Use one set bench (more than likely the H2H5) with no interchanging or adding allowed.

I'd like to see option No.2 win.

Why? Option 1 gives you the same + some extra objects that aren't in those benches. For example those angled crown moulding pieces aren't in any bench yet, since they were made by me and weren't put in any bench yet. (objects aren't that old yet ...) Same counts for other objects made in the last 1.5 year by object makers.
