Ask the Experts / Ride Editing Not Working in 8 Cars and Son Of Beast

I looked a lot through these forums and I haven't seen my exact problem here, but I have tried a lot of solutions to other problems to see if they would work. The problem is both Son of Best and 8 Cars fail to have any vehicle types in the ride editing menu, so when editing a ride everything gets changed, except there is no train on the coaster any more (clicking on the blank tab where a picture of the vehicle would be in RCT 2 creates an error trapper).

RCT 2 Triple Thrill Pack
Disabled Visual themes
Running Window 7 Ultimate (upgraded from Vista)
Aero is off
User Account Changes is off
Both RCT 2 and 8 cars (tried 1.21, 1.31, and 1.32) (and Son of Beast) in XP compatibility mode (tried service packs 2 and 3)
Windows 7 XP mode is no help because I cannot find the proper driver to allow me to make changes to display settings (It's HP IQ504 touch center) (this is only in XP mode though)

I tried the same exact files on my sister's laptop (Windows 7 - the most basic one) and 8 cars and RCT worked perfectly together so I am thinking there might be a setting that isn't right (probably transferred over from Vista)

I'm not a computer genius but I'm not a complete computer idiot. I've tried a lot of different settings, re-installing, and just nothing seems to work. It's weird that two different programs are giving me the exact same problem. If anyone has any idea, any suggestion at all, I would love to hear it. I'm stuck. Thanks in advanced!

I think you have used the wrong 8Cars trainer, download and use 8Cars 1.302, it's the most stable and best working version of this trainer. Good to see you tried a lot of things yourself already. Oh, download for the 8cars thing is in this link: click.

I do run Wacky worlds and Time Twister. The CD I got for the game was RCT 2 plus the two expansions all on the one CD.

The version of 8 cars your recommended so far has worked. I haven't had a the chance to check it in detail, but the vehicle types are in the ride editing menu, and the few edits I made worked, so thanks a lot for that! I still wonder why the same thing happened on Son of Beast but now that something works I don't care.

I advice installing a no cd patch. that should solve the problem.

cena why host a topic if you can't do it right? oh i forgot you want to be an expert and the only way possible to do that is make a fool of yourself, and make your stupid version of a topic that next anyone could make better. you have only like half the trainer out there and you can't even add them cuz geewhz locked your topic and besides that you have a money issue.

-One object editor version. ulike 8cars im pretty sure you only need one unless you want to cause confusion about what is the best version. if the two you posted are both nessisary ill give you a cookie. put them in the saame zip retard.
-And the fact the if my topic was pinned the download would never disapear (unlike yours that come from elsewhere), they are attachments in my trainer topic long forgotten here at NE. btw when you stop playing rct and when your site is an epic fail, your trainer topic will be useless here too. no pay then you're gay..
-RCTM 1.3 which both partly your creation and hosted in the topic you made at rct guide. completely beyond my understanding. (i need permission before posting it in my topic)
-Freshly installed rct2 no expansioned object folder, which was also at rct guide (i just thought about it and can upload it whenever the fuck)
-Geewhz's workbench that was also at your rct guide trainer topic (i could easily upload it)..
-explain how levis was making fun of NE over at guide about the rct expanded joke (and how us american's didn't get it).
-i would upload all this stuff i didn't have like right now, if i knew my topic would be pinned, with lasting downloads, and even payed attention to.
-an official online rct music converter and tutorial, so you won't have to waste you bytes downloading and installing a program that you had to hunt for, and may not be fully functional. (that i already took care of as a separate topic.)
-Fully English GUI editor (still waiting for the file from JJ)
-TMK and Cheat Engine (for the experts )

uhh.. its really cool and all you make objects and parks why not just do that alone. However, you can't barely do any of that with all the above listed. you like helping and that is a good thing. you are trying way too hard, care wayy too much, and doing wayyy too little in the final result of "helping". Not only in your trainer topic you fail in all areas of help besides your objects. the way you argue with levis is cute, he is much more experianced than you bud off him too--i really don't care if your english is better. If you spent more time with object then cena it would be a miracle. you are very good at it and you out do me when it comes to making objects. don't ruin me at NE anymore. you already fucked up my hopes and dreams with parkmaking, now object making, people are afraid of my imaginary trogans you made up (must i disproove your theory on that again?), you are one desperate loser.

I helped the dude with his problem, by suggesting to use a different trainer. And it worked for him, the Triple Thrill Pack being the issue could be, but I am running that as well.

I think you are just jealous ... because my topic got pinned and yours not... I send you a pm a while ago, maybe you want to read it again. Learn to deal with it that sometimes someone else is better, most guys would understand it and would try harder to become better at a certain thing.

your absurd. you stole my topic and im jealous? how the fuck would my trainers fucking vary.. other than i have them all? yours was no different only worse. i'd bet posix didn't pin mine because he still thinks my topic has a trojan, and like yours doesn't? thats why i intentionally did not post rct silver again. that was the only file that gets mistaken for trojans, made with tmk--we have been over that little boy (fifty-year-old little boy). I am 19 years old, I do my school stuff, I life on my own, I need to buy my dinner and cook that myself, and yes, I need to do all the dishes by hand. I also do sports (cycling like the Tour de France) and I have other hobbies like carp-fishing, normal fishing, playing poker and walking outdoors. I also go to the church when I have the chance / when my mother is singing there. I don't have a wife yet, sorry, I do have a nice girlfriend for almost 2 years.

@ Cena -> you don't run TTT right? TTT has the game and its expansions on 1 disk it has a different exe. if you do have it you probally have a no cd patch installed and therefore you have a different exe and no problem.

if you run win xp or lower the OE 1.23d wil only run if you disable hardware acceleration. thats why 1.22 has to be uploaded also cause thats the last version which also runs without problem in xp and lower. and if you look at it technically 1.23d is a beta version so normally you would also provide the last stable version which is 1.23

Ok so I've been playing around with 8 cars 1.302 and I found that I have to use 8 Cars 1.32 for the Mountain Tool (as well as the not working toggle lift feature). Normal?

8.Cars 1.32 --> Mountain Tool, Toggle Lift + Rides invisible. 

8.Cars 1.302 --> Everything else. 

1.302 has the mountain tool also. only its more hidden. go to adjust land mover size. there you can select the mountain tool
