Why not use the nice custom supports instead of those bulky things? Besides that this is wonderful. I really like the colors and atmosphere -

I like those supports ... They are original if you compare them with the standerd sups we are all building with, only Liampie is doing them like this sometimes ...Why not use the nice custom supports instead of those bulky things? The way i have always done it is by saving all track designs, open up the saved game in the scenario editor, add what objects you want to add then resave that scenario, open up the new scenario and just reinstall the past designs that would have been deleted in the scenario editor. Not hard if all you want to add are the B&M Supports because they are under one scenery group. -

Hi, I really like this pics. They're looking very oldschool with this supports and normaly I prefer the B&M supports, but in this case it's absolutely fine. You have very cool style nokia, I always loved your RCT2-work, and I always will do! -

- Parkdat is your answer, see the trainer download topic in my sig. If you need any help (Pacific / Nokia) just ask in the Ask the Experts, I want to write a tut about this some time...The way i have always done it is by saving all track designs, open up the saved game in the scenario editor, add what objects you want to add then resave that scenario, open up the new scenario and just reinstall the past designs that would have been deleted in the scenario editor. It's not a joke, for new users in the community all the trainers and hacks are pretty overwhelming first, and they don't know what all the possibilities are, by giving them the basics of hacking and modifying RCT2, you have the first steps into becoming good at this game, knowing hacks + the tricks a trainer like parkdat can do is pretty usefull to know. By writing tuts (even simple ones like these) the beginning users have a bit more help in finding out the tricks on this old game, nowadays a lot of old users are leaving the community and therefore information is being lost, if we try to save it, also other users can do something with it.
Hope you get my point Prodigy ... -

I agree with Cena here because as I've stated previously, it's amazing how many posts I read where someone complains that their bench is dated and they've lost interest in a specific project. I also see Prodigy's point because ParkDat is so simple that if you've used it, it would seem silly to need a tut for it. But, if a short tut was made.....maybe it would save people from abandoning projects once they've been properly introduced to ParkDat and what it can do. -

if i can't even merge, theres no way in HELL i'm going to be able to use parkdat. i'm content with the limited objects, it makes it more of a challenge for me. anyways at the rate this project is going it will be finished at least by the end of june.
i'll probably end up posting a screen tomorrow night, or friday night. thanks for all the replies guys!!Edited by Nokia, 05 May 2010 - 10:54 PM.

^I can't merge and I use parkdat all the time. It's really simple.
However, I see no need to dimport any toon supports in, as those look fine. I've been trying stuff out w/ the PT2 bench, and part of the allure that comes from all of this is the scenery. I say leave the scenery you have. It'll make it unique. -

I would try yellow or blue for that train, other teaser looks fun as well, but a bit too much brown, I would like to see a few other colors in there too (you can keep the main colors brown, but some details with different colors would be an easy solution I think). -

1st screen: make it look natural. What you have there looks like you were watching a movie while you built. The idea is nice, the execution........not so much.
2nd screen: EVERYTHING clashes. Delete and start anew. Please. -

thanks for the reply's guys...
@cena, thanks i changed the train's colours.
@k0ng, uhhh. okay. i'll play around with it..
a little unfinished but you can't really tell.
comments? suggestions? -

Yeah, that's easily the best screen I've ever seen from you. Maybe lose the yellow wood pole objects by the T-O-W as they're already lanterns right by there, but.....yeah.
