BREAKING NEWS!
Six Flags has just released the information that the park, while not at completion yet, has reached a high enough level of completion for SF employees, their families, and their friends to enjoy a "test day" at the park. This soft opening occurs while construction workers add the finishing touches for the Grand Jubilee opening of the 2011 season.
Gentlemen, this can only mean one thing. The countdown for the actual opening is getting shorter and shorter, and only time will tell when we can join those lucky few within the park already.
Well, I actually don't believe this park will outdo Six Flags Carolina, but it does look really good so far. This particular screen looks a bit messy to me. Maybe there's too much stuff breaking up the path? Because of the isometric view, the middle tree of the screen blocks the view of the patch of foliage behind it (causing it to look more messy). And I don't get why on 'Cyclone Gifts' the deco trim just sort of stops on the side of the building. I would say either take it all around, or just use it for the front. I'm also not sure about the CS trees. I dunno, all I know is that this screen seems rushed and messy to me and I think you could do a lot better. Still looking very forward to this park's release. -

Yuck, white birch trunks..
I'd try to throw in a little grass texture as the dark sand makes it the screen look really dry. Maybe against the path at the bottom middle of the screen. -

Is it a cyClone? If it is, I'm really not liking this version (will explain why if identity is confirmed). -

^^It's named Cyclone, but isn't really a CyClone, in a sense that it's derivative of the original layout but takes a shitload of liberties with it, so I'd consider more of a cyclone "homage" than a clone. -

So no one will say this again... TREE TRUNK COLORS ARE CHANGED TO GRAY. The unfinished planter in the back is actually gone as well. -

Nice work on that last screen Robbie. One thing i have to critique would be the fence along the wooden supports here... .
By maybe creating a custom fence 1/4 block away from the ride could fix this problem. Furthermore, you could then add cement footers to the supports for a more realistic feel. -

Love the colors in this screen, but you must've forgot to add seats to the tables on the right.

^Correction: STEVE forgot to add benches... Steve?
Haha, nah, I kinda like it w/o the tables. It offers standing room for peeps, which I've seen at some parks. -

Hey everyone!
So, considering SFSF is hitting the last 5% of construction, I'm introducing a fun little contest for NE. Hidden within one of my posts on the site is a backstage pass. The first one who can use the clue below to find the pass and PMs me both the link to the pass and the location where they found it will be added to the final tester list and will be able to view the park before submission, which means WEEKS before the official release of the park.
NOTE: I already have a set tester list, so if someone on the list PMs me first with the pass, their chance will be null and voided. Also, please do not reveal where the pass is if you have found it. Just PM me, and I will announce the winner of this mini scavenger hunt in the topic
Here's the clue:It's like going back to the beginning all over again...
Happy hunting!
