Just thought I would share a few pictures from my recent trip In Chernobyl. Bit of a strange trip I know but a great experience none the less. The pictures below are of me standing in a very cold Chernobyl town. Picture two is of reactor 3 and Picture three is the famous ferries wheel in the ghost town of Pripyat.
was gonna post the pics but they are huge click the link below

Nice, what a great opportunity. I think I've seen a picture series of Chernobyl before--the basic rule is stay on the road and you're fine, correct? -

We went a bit off road to explore the old sports centre and school. The school was amazing loads of soviet memorabilia in there and lots of communist propaganda. The only real rules are avoid vegetation and wild animals other than that the guide will let you do your own thing. -

This is not the first abandoned park I have ever seen
There are tons of them in taiwan. Either damaged by typhoons or earthquakes.

Sorry for the bump but I found this website today and it has some really amazing photos of various abandoned themeparks. I knew there were some around but didn't realise how many.

This is one of my favourites:
Can anyone identify the manufacturers of those coasters? -

Ohio is pretty well known for its defunct amuesment parks. I have had a chance to visit Idora Park and Chippewa Lake before they were demolished. They are pretty disturbing places if you ask me.

The lower left one is built by Togo, and the upper one is unsure, but probably Meisho.
