I noticed this too. Is there anyway we can still see the nominations without seeing the tallied votes?^^as long as you can't see the nominations after voting, it won't be possible

Hey guys
I'm truly amazed I got the number of Nominations i did. I'm not expecting to win any considering the caliber of the opposition but its an honor to even get nominated.
I don't want to sound like I'm ass kissing but I think you and Gee might have to take the plaudits for this. The sites in the best shape I've seen it for years.86 votes. i find this quite a lot and it makes me happy. does anyone remember how many we had last year? i think it was 70something?

Just a question... Do winners get sig banner like they did in previous years?
I better hope not, otherwise I have to go threw a list of 20 million awards you have won this year....
I think Posix and Gee will do that again, but most of the time they are made afterwards (otherwise they have to make one for every nominee, and then only for the winners). -

Well' this is my first year voting. This took awhile to get through, I'm glad I was coaxed into going thru some old parks from last years. Brought back some memories. Good luck to those nominated!! -

^I agree. As much as I've tried to forget how H2H5 ended, going back and seeing some of that (and reading some of the threads) reminded me of how much fun that really was. -

Man, I was actually kind of excited about getting Asshole of the Year. How come it's not there? -

^^ It was dropped last year, I believe. It was a fun award, kind of like Quote of the Year, but it kinda brought down the professionalism of the whole ordeal, if you know what I mean. It's better without them, anyway. There's no need to have them if we can joke amongst ourselves in between awards. -

Good Luck to all nominations, I should be there to witness the winners at the awards ceremony (I've been without internet for a while).
It was incredibly tough to produce the list of nominations and a lot of work went into them by the backstage team so yeah great work guys -

101 votes. that's 15 more to last year's. could it be this community has actually grown a bit despite the continuous aging of the games? that would make me very happy.
you aren't using fake accounts to double-vote, are you? -

I think it's growing. The amount of new blood the last three years has been really impressive! I actually think we haven't hit our peak yet by a long shot!
Hats off to Gee and Posix, this wouldn't have been possible without your hard work to run this site so well.
Also Louis congrats on arranging all the awards in an efficient manner and getting them done so soon. -

Yes, I also think this community still is growing.
I think there's an explanation though; If people (particularly younger people) go to themeparks, they usually get so overwhelmed and want to create a themepark themselves when they get home. I myself am experiencing this time and time again when going to themeparks, getting home and having tons of inspiration to build in RCT. And lets face it, RCT2 is the best game out there, although RCT3 probably is more popular nowadays. Still, NE benefits from RCT3's popularity too, because when people can't run that game properly they probably go play RCT2. And then they discover NE, still the best themepark simulation computer game community out there.

I took JK's advice and have taken the time to cast my votes. Glad there seems to be an increase from last year. Judging from the nominations there has been some really, really good stuff coming out of this site in the last 12 months. I especially enjoyed the Sea World H2H park!
I second the props to Posix and Gee for keeping NE alive, there must be something different to keep me coming back this time and I guess it is down to you guys so keep up the good work!
Is there any pro-active approach to bringing in new peeps to the site, for example encouraging members of other forums such as the official Atari website and such to check out NE? I think it's great that a few veterans are slowly creeping back and that new people are still discovering NE and would love it if the community grew even stronger.
I think finding a way to get priority on google when 'roller coaster tycoon fansite' or an alternative is searched would help a lot?
