Here is a Recreation of Kraken At Seaworld Orlando.
I have been working on this ride For little bit.
Here are some screen...
there are some things i am still looking, because they dont look like in the real ride, but some thing there is nothing i can do. -

The buildings don't look terribly much like the real stuff, but the layout is more or less accurate. Keep adding the various landscaping to the 2nd half and it'll start to look better! -

yeah, the station looks nothing like that in real life, but its not too bad.
i've ridden this one a lot, so i guess i could be more critical if i wanted, but oh well.
it looks nice man:] -

Okay, let me start off by saying that isn't even the right color of the roller coaster. You want it a brighter blue rather then that teal color. Next... well your layout is just a mess. I would honestly go back and redo the entire thing. The scale is extremely off and inaccurate. Your zero G roll is going the wrong way as well. That small turn after the dive loop shouldn't even be considered with the speed the coaster is hitting in that area. The prelift is wrong as well. The coaster only comes down about 10 feet, not 30. The turn before the main drop is too wide and that drop is obnoxious for no reason... you even have brakes at the bottom (if you have to put in brakes to slow up a coasters pacing, you fail). Then at the end you also have another giant rct loop when it should only be a small one. And as the rest of the coaster and it's ending, it's not even worth telling what is wrong because that's just a total pile of zero effort and laziness.

then if this is not correct, then the Ne Design by nevis is not even close to the real thing. -

And also if i want it to make it realistic 100, there is no way i could be done in rct2. also i ridden this coaster over 100 times, because i have worked and also have a annual pass, so nobody can tell something like you guys just have said. -

That's why I always stay away from recreations in RCT2, even RCT3, the track work just isn't good enough... For recreations NoLimits is fun to work with. (Especially if you give your coaster some 3d objects, then it's RCT4 right there!)
I see you've done a lot, but I would drop the project if it was me.Edited by That Guy, 17 February 2010 - 06:32 PM.

Oh, don't make me do oneit's always going to be an ugly recreation in rct. plain and simple.
Yes, there are some designs that are extremely hard to recreate such as Hydra and Talon, but Kraken isn't really that difficult.

Thanks Rmm and ThatGuy, looking over all the images i have, this is the closest i can get to do it. but anyways let me know if anybody can do better JDP, because i dont see nobody do any ride recreation that does not change a things went they are done in RCT2.
Once Again, thank you -

Well I actually made one in my SFMM park (it's Medusa..) and while its no where near as tall as yours (as i believe the taller a rec is, the more inaccurate it will become), I do believe it may be more accurate in terms of layout. I'll send you a pm of the basic layout if you'd like.Edited by nin, 17 February 2010 - 09:06 PM.

Not bad, although a little tight, especially with the final brake run.
The main issue is the area with the corkscrew, which is a whole lot lower than everything else on the ride... as in at least 15ft. lower than you have. It's too bad there has to be that S sequence after the loop (which should also be buried more and a little further from the lift hill). Still, not a bad attempt either. -
JDP Offline
Yeah it was a bit tight, and I figured the S bend track worked best for that. Sometimes they don't look too bad. And I didn't know the corkscrew was that low, but thanks for the response on it.
Damn, all this bullshittin makes me wanna go down to Florida and go to Sea World.

No offence JDP but although overall your layout is more accurate I actually prefer the first half of Hulks (apart from the pull in on the zero-g)
Only because its more drawn out
In my opinion your first section looks too cramped and close together. this is RCT's fault but extended pull outs of only a few squares would help i reckon -

At least JDP doesn't bullshit about anything. I think his comments were actually quite accurate and to back them up with an layout rec too, well enough said.
Whilst he can be a dick sometimes a lot of the time he is very helpful and worth listening too, take on board his suggestions and you'll have a better layout, that is accurate as well as having better flow. -

Who was that guy that made that awesome recreation in RCT1?...
Nobody will beat that one. -
hulkpower25 Offline
Nevis was the guys, and if you want to make an accurate recreation including heights, then mr JDP did extremely baddddd.
First, the ride is 165 and yours is not even 150.
Second, the corskcrew is complety wrong in every way there could be.
Third, and where you going to put all the walkway and scenery around and close to the station.
So next time before you tell somebody is wrong, check images and ride layout before wasting you time (bullshiting).
