meh. It's being good today. Varies a lot since there are 10 of us in the house with a single small business line (several with more than one computer). So things get hairy from time to time.

I can't even load the damn website because I still have dial-up, but you get the idea...

I now have a 3G modem for my laptop, to have internet always and everywhere, it has a dl speed of 7.2 Mbps, not bad for completely wireless, and it's easy for use in the bus/train and at school

I wish this had been bumped a couple weeks ago when I was still in my school's dorms on their internet. Now I'm on a neighbor's unsecured network until I get internet set up in this house.

Bumping this because I got new internet and wanted to see the difference.

to much students are watching porn atm probally or are gaming cause I only manage 100mb/s which is kinda weak for my connection.

I don't have a modem as I'm directly plugged into the wall with an ethernet cable.
Thought when they said when my line was synchronous 10MB, they meant 10Mbit but it actually meant a max of 10MB/s Best part is that I pay very little for it.

I'm jealous of european internet. I miss my korean internet. God..

So we just moved onto post... in a house built in the late 1800's. Needless to say, it isn't the most up to date on wiring around here in the "historical" district, lol.
