--NE Investigator Squad--

This newly formed team of investigators has recently marked its opening success with the interview of Aviator and Ozone. The Spicy questions and troubled answers were greeted right away with a heated discussion of the NE parkmaker's cockiness. Negative replies were (almost) non-existent in the thread, so the posting NEers must have enjoyed it quite a bit. With something this interesting to start of with, most await in full anticipation to what the NE Investigator Squad is up to next. -Evil WME

Since the last issue things have been happening. The first spotlight in about a month was shown, Harakiri's Islands of Adventure. Also H2H2 is underway as we could see the big heading on top of the forums. With people like Chauncey saying that the Parkmaker pages would probably never be up they were proved wrong when iris put up the Parkmaker section on Sunday, February 16.

Iris is currently working on a quest. This quest involves climbing Everest and going through snake and rat infested rainforests with no food or water. Well not really. But Iris and some other people are searching for the best parkmaker that ever lived! Parkmakers come in many sizes and shapes and sometimes are the best at what they do, but these people may not be the best ever. This will be a very hard and long decision.

Also in the news, The List has been updated with the runner-ups to the spotlight. NE has always had the Weekly designs before they moved to nedesigns.com. But iris one day saw it fit to bring back the old weekly designs that were on the old site.

Wow! The forums are still going as they have always been with the exception of topics about the “war.” These topics have made friends enemies and enemies well friends. We have truly seen who is liberal and who is conservative.

The NE Investigator Squad forum was added on February 17 with their first article interviewing Aviator and Ozone. It was a very good interview and hope that more is posted.

Sorry, but honestly this news letter sucks. It's just a round up of what has gone on in the week, there is no news as such, everything in it I allready knew. At least put in something interesting.

He's got a point. You need something interesting in there, not just what happened in the days past. Right now the newsletter seems like a space filler. I think it would be a good idea to get Adix working on a signup, and then have the news letter be a mass mailer to everyone that has a email addy on the forum, that way you can make the damn thing look good, with grfx and such, you can get someone to do a real layout also not just some text. It needs work but I see something big coming of it.

Well really I need some concrete staff. So, if you really are good at writing and would like to add some news to this thing, just email me at lumpmanbeck@hotmail.com with some writing.

The whole newsreport thing and round up of what has been going on lately is fine, yet you just need more to it. Like many others have said, this needs to be mass mailed. I was thinking maybe you could add in some arguments or rants (like just for example on the war or Bush). Some juicy stuff to read, in addition to the main news.

Hmmm....... what about a surprise park or track to be included with the newsletter? That might be cool. I could help some if it was needed, although I cant devote a whole lot of time to it. I could do some "detailed" park reviews (If you know what I mean). I consider myself a decent writer.


For a small rundown of what has happened over the last month or so (with a little bit of stuff we havent heard included), this "newsletter" is pretty informative. But, from what I think a newsletter should be, well, no....... it needs a lot of work.

The problem with all of this stuff, is that Anxious doesn't have access to any of it. If he did, I'm sure he'd use them. But he doesn't.

It's really as simple as that. Without the support of NE (which this doesn't have, except of course, 'officially') he has no way of making it any better.

And didn't Adix say something about the mass-mail function not working, or am I going insane? Whatever. I'm probably insane... I already am insane. I know this.
