You guys are so legit. haha We've only been a band for about 4 months so still starting out. We recorded that demo in our practice space ourselves so excuse the quality.

Those songs sound not just legit, but downright proper!

However, in standard "really fucking good" production style, I can have your stuff on as background and COMPLETELY IGNORE IT. I know it's metal, but for why does everything have to make love with the compressor? Then get polished in the EQ and filter banks, then have another lovemaking session with the compressor again... A little high-pass to trim the low low end off the guitars would also make it more to my liking, but I imagine that's not at all what you're aiming for... I find that the biggest challange in music production is hitting that magic middle mark... where everything sounds good, but it doesn't sound like you had Bob Rock and Robert John "Mutt" Lange suck the life out of it. Also beware of mastering it too loud! Nothing ruins a good metal albums like digital clipping!

I'm also not a fan of either predominate vocal style here, but that's personal opinion and I guess I'm just to old to get it or something... They're certainly solidly melodic, unusually so from what I've heard in this genre, and I like that - it'll help take you places.

Just listened to Apparitions. The clean vocals sound like Aaron Gillespie(SP?). The rest of the song was good too.

Also, I want to use the intro from Apparitions in an intro for my youtube channel. Is that okay?

And Ride6, thank you so much for the kind words. I understand what you mean with the mixing and such.
That isn't the final mix or master. It was just something our producer had to rush and mix very quickly before he left town to go on tour with this band called Legend for a month.
We wanted to have a song to put online before he left, so he did that for us. When he gets back in a couple weeks, we will finish up the album and get it mixed properly:]

I do apologize for the triple post, but being that this is a site with many theme park enthusiasts, I think that you guys might like this video haha.

My entire band has season passes to Busch Gardens Tampa, and go there everytime we play a show there, or whenever we have a free weekend.
We went there yesterday and shot this video of my drummer freaking out on the Phoenix inverted swinging ship ride.

Guys, I vouch for this album. If you like Metal or fast music, it's really nice. My favorite, the new version of 'Visions'. Great job guys. Right now, just listening on YouTube, but it's definitely a buy once I have ten bucks lol.
