    I drink water -- a half gallon a day at least. I like gatorade / powerade. I like fruit juices on occasion. I stay away from pop, I don't enjoy it. I give in and have a cup of coffee now and then when I'm tired and need a little kick. I put an Andes mint in my coffee along with cream and sugar, its delicious.

    Cashew Fenny - fuck me that is strong stuff. i dont drink it after what happened last time.

    On a night out it's just shots like Sambuca, whatever is going really, mix in a few cocktails maybe if i have enough cash or there are deals, and vodka redbull, if not it's Smirnoff Ice & WKD's all the way: cheap cheap cheap.

    But I tend to drink milk, sprite, pepsi max, coca-cola, red bull. A lot of stuff really.

    I usually drink Gatorade during the day, (Not that disgusting G2 stuff) and a variety of drink mixes for meals. (Such as Crystal Light)

    I love Root Beer but I stay away from all soda because it tends to decrease my performance in sports.

    Nah, when I was practicing every day two summers ago, the effects of drinking soda the day before were very noticeable. If you casually work out, then I'd imagine it's not a huge difference.

    Like MA said, if you're casually working out it shouldn't be a problem, but whenever if I drink a soda before a game/practice i'll be immensely dehydrated, and even if I do it the day before I'll notice a strong lack of energy.

    Never seems to help me.
