But I like Barq's root beer, Diet 7up, Sobe, Monster, and pepsi. (and lemonade and water )

This is my kind of thread as I used to be a raging alcoholic.
RRP's mention of Weissbier had to make me go and get a bottle of Paulaner Hefeweizen. I think I prefer Weihenstephaner (whose recipe is almost 1000 years old if you believe the hype) though, but even still: mmm, flavour.
Other beers I like include most IPA (though not Greene King), basically some other styles of German beer including Rauchbier (an acquired taste, yes) and Doppelbock (difficult to drink if you don't want to end up on the floor.) Pils too, though not as much as the others.
Cider is horrid and undrinkable to me ever since I got ridiculously ill on it when I was 15 years old.
Spirit-wise whisky is probably my favourite though I don't drink it on a night out. I really like the peaty Islay stuff, Laphroaig, Bruichladdich, the like. (Quite an expensive taste). Most other spirits I will quite happily drink with the exception of tequila.
I recently developed a taste for bitters, my most recent (and favourite) discovery being Becherovka, which is a cinnamon liqueur, and delicious it is too. -

Let's see..
For the non-alcoholic ones; Coke (screw Pepsi), coffee, and water.
For the good part: Hertog Jan Bockbier, Hertog Jan Karakter, and Glenglassaugh Single Malt Whisky.
EDIT: Also good for, but not on my all-time best list: Strogganov vodka, and Bokma jonge jenever (traditional Dutch spirits). -

Generally no. Hefeweizen is quite widespread, mostly in the big supermarkets' online stores. For the others, some of the bigger ALDI and Lidl stores have it but mostly you've got to have a friend who owns an off-license and doesn't mind paying the import charges etc. It generally means I end up paying about £1.70 for the Hefe and anything up to £2.50 for something "speciality" like the Rauchbier. But hey, quality not quantity. -

Victory Storm King
Victory Golden Monkey
Oktoberfests in many forms
Voodoo Cowbell
And this guy, named the Mongolian. My bartender makes this one a bit different, but it's about the same kind of liquor-as-the-mixer kind of drink. Usually one of these is all you need to pregame. -

Is there any particular place you buy that? I can never find a place that sells it. -

Relentless. Monster. Red Bull. Nespresso Coffee (capriccio for lattes, ristretto for americanos, roma for espressos). I like caffeine.
Oh and whenever I'm statesite I bring back luggage full of moun-in doo and vanilla coke. -

^^My school's food court actually has it in the fountain machines, as well as by the bottle. IDK if it's only a Southern US thing, though, as I never saw it before I moved here. -

If you're nearer to Atlanta that might be why. Coke is headquartered and has their main North American production facilities there and Barq's is a Coke product.
I'm a big fan of apple cider in the fall and am kind of a beer snob for my age. I tend to enjoy European imports, micro brews, and Sam Adams (but not the fruity varieties... keep fruit out of beer dammit!) for the most part, though other than some local micro brew stuff I've only had the most mainstream of those (Guinness, Blue Moon, Stella Artois). I get some shit from other students because I'm clearly "wasting money" and not getting trashed, BUT I make up for the cash by not getting plastered with any frequency, and no going to bars...
Also I discovered how to make an Oatmeal Cookie... (equal parts Irish Cream, Jager, Buttershots (Butterscotch Schnapps), and Hot Damn (or Goldschlager)). For the sake of simplicity I tend to make them with a shot of each (which makes for about 2.5 given the lower proof of all the non-Jager liqueurs involved)... It tastes the part except cold, and liquid, and gets you drunk... it's the most incredible and mysterious thing to me...

You never drink alcohol in your life because you're 11? Seems perfectly reasonable to me. I'm 21, which is the legal drinking age in the US, so, yeah..?
