did you use a trainer in the savegame?

if you use parkdat on a saved game and replace objects i believe you cannot re-open it in the se, but i could be wrong.

Yes, I used 8cars. No, I did not use parkdat.

what did you do with the 8cars trainer
and what error does it give when you open the savegame in the SE (and how do you open it).

All sorts of things with 8cars....mostly zero clearances. Its just a regular error trapper that comes up.

Heres where I'm willing to bet I'm wrong :p :
I go to scenario editor, I click open, then I change the folder from Lanscapes to Saved Games, then select the file, and click open. Wrong?

depends on what you want to do.
I think the problem here is you want to open the savegame in the se, and to do that the game has to remove all rides from the game. and I think one of your rides is bugged and that causing the error.
bugged can mean a lot of things. I think even a invisible entrance will make the se crash already.
what is it you want to archieve, so why do you want to open it in the se. I dont think this is necesary.

Well there are no rides, but I wanted to edit the objects and attractions using SE. I guess yeah, this is all pointless because I could use parkdat. :/ But I would think its easier to open with SE.
