(Archive) Advertising District / Going out with a BANG!

Not my normal style, but probably the best screen I've shown here. Feel free to disagree.

^I dunno....looks like your 'normal' style to me. Repetitive, monotonous, symmetrical and boring. Just with different textures. You really need to try to create smaller, more varied structures and develop some sort of style and maybe then bring that to these larger structures so they can have more "life" to them.

^ Although I think it's plausible for a structure and very realistic. Dark Horse I say keep the building as it has a nice look to it but really delve into textures to make your building faces stand out with more details. Take Liam for example, he can take 5 objects and use them again ten times to create a different looking building each time.

Oh I also don't think the image quality is doing this justice, zoomed in with foliage would make it more appealing imo.

Ka-bump. Kinda forgot something that I regard highly.

Putter's, of course, considering I didn't actually get going on any projects all year.. It got deleted when my Dad surprise-wiped ALL the memory on my computer for some reason, but I may or may not restart it later.

I really liked the way the hill turned out in this screen.

This encapsulates everything I want to aim for in RCT.

I really didn't do much with RCT this year, regrettably. I do, however, really dig this station for Ogopogo. I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do with it, and it just kind of materialized into something really retro-looking. Hopefully 2011 will be a better RCT year for me.

I still agree that this is one of your best screens, Robbie.

This one is from Elitch Gardens. It was a tough call between this and one of the Crossfire screens from Horsetooth. I went with this one because I feel it's the best I've done in terms of capturing the atmosphere and accuracy of recreating the real park. Elitch's will definitely get more work this year along with Horsetooth of course.

I doubt that I`ll have more time to work on it this year,school is getting harder.
