This is a round-robin; the games currently played aren't decisive. The knockout-system starts later. -

The germans really impressed me. Keep in mind though that Australias defenders seemed oblivious to the idea of "offside" and gave the germans a highway behind themselves to make cutting runs on. Still, definately the best display so far in the tournament, along with south korea. They have a similar style actually, the germans and the south koreans. Quick passing with lots of intelligent runs and effective attacks. -

Germany was impressive but Australia was also really poor. Still, I think Germany definitely has to be in the running to win it all. Klinsmann after the match was hilarious, he was just giddy with excitement. -

He's an expert for UK and US media, right?
I think it was him that started a certain trend 4 years ago that Loew now can reap the fruits of.
Our team now is a definite favorite, alongside Argentina and Spain.Edited by Casimir, 13 June 2010 - 05:50 PM.

Yeah, he does match analysis in the US on ESPN, I'm not sure if he does the UK feed too though. -

I love how JDP tries to insult soccer when he doesn't even know what he's talking about. -

Germany impressed me too. Australia might not have been so hot, but France, Uruguay, Greece, Algeria, etc, etc weren't so hot either, you know?
Btw- I completely disagreed with a statement I heard last night on TV.. and I believe it actually contradicted a lot of other things I heard.. but I was wondering.
Holland- a favorite? an underdog? an outsider?
On TV they said that "no one sees us." and blabla bullshit, but I think everyone has us going through easily and I'd say we have a good shot!
We'll see in a bit :) (this question is more about "before you see us play", of course, because after that.. whoosh.. ai ai aiaiaiaiaiai everyone will be rooting for us.. yes.. no.. maybe =D -

I put Holland in the same group as England. overall a good team with an outside chance of winning.
I have Van Der Wiel in my Fantasy Football team so I'm hoping for a brace of goals from him today -

Proud of Germany. (:
They're really talented, my hope for a Title is bigger than ever now. -

^Robinson wasnt a bump in the ground. He hit the ground over a foot away from the ball, the ball literally rolled past him completely
Stop trying to prove me wrong if I'm clearly not.

Well.. we won.. but that's about it...
Own goal =/. and it was so unlucky, it hardly even looked stupid!!
Our substitutes did nicely..
And the commentator is saying: "It's good this way, because now no one will scream that Holland will win everything like last time and thus, we will have a better chance." Right..
We won't be playing Russia either which way!
Just hope we play a bit better soon. We need Robben much more than I thought! -

Another disappointment! What's going on with all these teams? So far only Germany played well... Could it be the vuvuzelas?
The Netherlands sucked in the first 70 minutes. However, the last minutes were quite good, IMO!
