I don't think he will play Green again, at least I seriously hope not. Yes, he's a good keeper, but do you really think he'll be able to play as well under the pressure now?

Capello would be completely stupid to not play Green. James is still injured at the moment, so unless he recovers it leaves it down to Hart. And Hart is a rookie. Yes he is a good goalkeeper (he wouldnt have made the 23 if he wasnt) but he doesnt have the experience that Green has.

Green made a mistake, one that was no where near as big as 2006's world cup where Robinson kicked the ground and not the ball.

Louis, the save in 2nd half was normal for a Worldcup keeper. The mistake was a 100% fail. 

I know it was a 100% fail lol. It's just not that big a mistake compared to some of England's other keepers

Plus we still came out with a draw so its still good (66's first match was a draw )

Our Dutch commentator also said that he redeemed himself, but on closer look he was just lucky that ball didn't go in. I really liked that attack, though.

Algeria's keeper just made a mistake that might top Green's. It looked like he was trying to hug the ball but missed, or something.

I don't exactly see why a goalkeeper needs experience? How the f does that help? Didn't help Green it seems.
Robinson on the other hand couldn't do anything about that bump in the ground. Green just misjudged the ball's movement.

The Algerian keeper's mistake was pretty bad as well. But that ball bounced up a little more so that might be why he didn't save it. Still ridiculous.


I hope there are gonna be a lot of goals in the Germany Australia game cause this world cup has not seen too many goals so far.

^Robinson wasnt a bump in the ground. He hit the ground over a foot away from the ball, the ball literally rolled past him completely

Green and England will be fine, people make way too big a deal of stuff like this.
