Just wait until Messi is in finishing form.
He could have scored like 4 goals today if Enyeama (Nigeria's keeper) wasn't so damn good. -

Unbelievable. The U.S pretty much "handed" England sooo many opportunities. To come out with a tie is extremely lucky.
Has anyone seen the Nike "Write the Future" ad? http://www.youtube.c...h?v=idLG6jh23yE
After seeing the U.S goal, I couldn't help but think of the ad...and wonder where England's goalie will be in another couple years. -

Green's mistake actually wasnt that bad. He caught the ball, it just bounced off his hands. It's not like he missed completely.
And I find it funny how so many people in the England team made mistakes, yet its all Green's fault that we ended up with a draw. The only reason a goalie's mistakes are bigger than a normal player's is because there is no one there to cover him, if he makes the slightest slip, that's it.
And also to be fair to Green. He hadn't made a single mistake for England before then, all the warm-up games and previous friendlies he has been awesome.
Capello will still play him, James is unfit and Hart is too much of a rookie. Plus Green plays for West Ham and is hot, so it makes everything ok -

Green's mistake was a horrible fail...should be on failblog by now! Any other keeper would've caught that. But there are these times where people make mistakes and it doesn't mean he's a bad goalie now but this was definitely ridiculous!
Very true so since there is no one who could cover him it's his mistake. He HAS to catch that ball. Still it's not just his fault England didn't win and all the players said that in interviews as well. And I find it funny how so many people in the England team made mistakes, yet its all Green's fault that we ended up with a draw. Good for him but this is where it counts.
