Yeah, they play messy, not Messi.
And this kung-fu-kick in the first half was absolutely hilarious. Really, that was almost a felony. -

I love the sportsmanship from both teams where everyone just started to hug everyone, despite that fact that Netherlands lost. -

Funny, I suddenly realized I wanted NED to win, when I felt I was unhappy, when ESP had a good chance or sth.
Strange WC somehow, luckily ice hockey season will start in like 2 months or sth. -

No, you should love him. He didn't gave Holland three deserved red cards...+ he didnt gave spain a clear penalty. -

Besides the fact that Paul is brilliant and at the same time the most hated Octopus in Central Europe right now I'm going to say what I've said on another forum as well already.
First of all congrats to Spain, great players and all that...
...BUT this to me is by no means deserved!!!
I mean I don't get how this is supposed to be well deserved at all...Just 1-0s since their 3rd group game, they lost to Switzerland, they were lucky in almost every game (probably all besides the one against Germany where they played like they did in 2008), and the refs didn't really do bad from a Spanish perspective either if you look at the whole tourny.
I thought the Spanish victory at the Euros in 08 was EXTREMELY deserved but this one is just...it just doesn't feel right...doesn't feel like they've shown anything in the whole tourny that makes them World Champions. -

ahahahaha YES.
i dont care that Spain won, as much as i'm happy that the Dutch lost.
now we dont have to listen to any cocky bragging dutchmen on this site. [well, not as much as we already do]
my team is still undefeated though -

I hate football every time it airs, except when the Dutch team plays - but this was crazy. How are you supposed to beat a 12-man team? After all, the referee gave a card for 3 obvious fake dives, and didn't even blow the whistle for carbon copies of card-earning fouls on the Spanish side!
Next to that, the pass right before Spain's goal was painfully offside.. -

Well, we are still better at RCT.
Howard Webb has been bought, clearly. Howard Webb shouldn't be the referee anyway, because of the match between Swiss-Spain, where he got problems because Spain lost. Now it was obvious that Spain needed to win, also because of the high voters position of some people from Spain in the Fifa.
And Spain deserving this win? No fucking chance it was deserved. Yannik, I am going to kill you too if you say something to me again about the three red cards. -

Lol, stumbling upon a leg and playing badly injured would have been worth a yellow card. The referee was right this time, though the German speaker always insisted on a lie... -

well he could have given two more red cards early on (Van Bommel (maybe red but if not then dark yellow) and De Jong (CLEARLY a red card)). Still the ref was horrible. For example Puyol would've gotten a red card if Robben had stopped running in that one situation. Instead he was fouled and still tried to somehow score...what happened...referee gave Robben a yellow for complaining and that was it. That was a truly ridiculous call by the ref. All in all as I said before Spain are lucky to have won the tournament. Definitely not deserved all in all. But Holland was not that great in the whole tournament either. I was rather disappointed by the final anyway.
