Congratulations USA! Me being pro-America is very rare, but it is happening here! Also, I expected and (sorry) hoped to see Slovenia win instead of England.

Germany vs Ghana is quite boring... Both teams play quite good, but too little happens.

There is a chance that Germany will get knocked out which is nice for the England team, however I have them in our sweepstake and it would be nice to have them rack up a few more points

I predict Germany will beat England and the US will beat Ghana.

Isn't Argentina vs Mexico and then if they win, potentially Argentina vs Germany exactly like last time? They beat Mexico in the last sixteen and then lost to Germany, if I remember correctly. I hope they get to take revenge on the germans.

It's Germany - UK and Argentina - Mexico in the round of 16, yes.
But I actually do hope that we'll get Argentina in the qarterfinals. If we can beat them AGAIN, it will prove that our team is stronger than most experts ranked it beforehand.

germany and england really failed me, although i must say i'm partial to the germans this year. they can play some nice football and i'm hoping that the rest of the world cup isn't too 'south-american'. :P

of course, we will be beating brazil in a couple of rounds ;)

Oh man, that was one tight match!
I'm pretty sure we could beat Slovakia in the next round, although we shouldn't underestimate them like we did with Russia 2 years ago..
I even think we could give Robben another match off to recover a bit more and not take any risks.. If we really need him we could use him in the last 30 minutes or so..
1/4 finals will be tough, if we face Brazil or Portugal.. Round after that will be Uruguay/S. Korea/USA or Ghana which will be pretty easy I think..

Didn't write here for quite a while.
The game against Serbia was a scandal, really. I'm the first one to admit Germany played bad, and they weren't the best there, but this referee and so on. It was ridicoulos.

Well, luckily we won against Ghana, I actually like them, they just were bad in the offense, the defense was very well!

Well, I think 99% of Germany is like "party", that Serbia's out after running their mouth. And I think more than 80% of the entire world is happy that Italy is out now. Although I feel sorry for them....
Against England on Sunday. No idea what's gonna happen, but our exchange students from england will be at the public viewing and I hope they can hold themselves back, sadly, I'm getting aggressive very quickly....

France & Italy out. That's 2 favourites gone, one more will get knocked out for definate in the Germany/England match-up. This world cup is incredibly unpredicitable.

I dont think i'm gonna be able to say who will win Germany V England because I think both teams are going to be trying their hardest to win due to being massive rivals. Half of me wants England to win to go on further in the contest, but part of me wants Germany to win as then I'll get more points in our family sweepstake
