Before I get owned for my taste in music, I must say I have only been listening to indie/alternative for the past few months and haven't dove deeply into the genres. I still lack some of the essentials. But I have fallen in love with all the aforementioned albums. -

Album of the year: Lady Gaga - The Fame
Album of the decade: The Notorious B.I.G. - Duets: The Final Chapter (mixtape)
I'd probably have picked a different album of the year if i had listened to more full albums this year. lol -

Its not like he's alone; pretty much every magazine and website has the same opinion as he does, even with the Strokes, too.for real yyo? mpp?
I might get some heat for this, but was anyone else surprised with Say Anything's s/t album? Probably the most underrated album of the year. -

i realize that steve, but yyo is one of the last people i'd expect to like animal collective. -

AOTY - The Fame Monster by Lady Gaga - The combination of both albums makes it fantastic, every song is brilliant.
I couldn't decide between this and I am Sacha Fierce by Beyoncé - The difference between CD1 & CD2 is amazing. And the whole idea around it makes it even better. Plus the fact that every song is single worthy.
AOTD - B'Day by Beyoncé - Every single song on this album is incredible. I've been listening to this pretty much on repeat for the last few weeks and I dont think I could ever get sick of it. It's perfect. -

Why do people who listen to the radio think that it's amazing for an album not to have terrible tracks? That should be expected. If I don't like at least 80%-85% of the music on an album there's no way I'm going back to it.Plus the fact that every song is single worthy.

^Ummm. I don't listen to the radio. And the same here, if I don't like a lot of the songs on an album I wont listen to it, I was merely stating that ever song that album Beyoncé could have a hit single with.
