JJ made alot of good points, split, youre a really nice guy but i dont think you can see the implications of what you are saying.

I understand that we can't just stop using money today, and I also realize that not everything will work out exactly as it should in a system like the one TZM proposes, but I do think it will work and I do think it will be a great improvement from todays situation. But I shouldn't worry, becuase one day or another, the monetary system WILL fail. It is based on consumption, and we've already understood that we consume at a rate that's not sustainable for the earth. We need to consume more in order to make the economy grow, but we need to consume less to ensure that we all don't die in natural disasters and such. That is the definition of counterinitiative for me. We won't need to wait for the actual day capitalism fails, if we realize there's another way to do it.
