Thanks Liampie, Does the world's of fun rec have a log flume playing gentle style music called "Viking Voyager". That is the park I am looking for. Here is a good SBNO site that has some good rct1 recreations. http://www.realrct.p...ueyonder.co.uk/ It has a great alton towers forbidden valley rec for rct2, but it leads to a dead link. To tell you the truth, I am working on a just-for-fun rec of Six Flags Fiesta Texas though it is hard considering that I've never been there. Anyways, thanks for your help everyone.

Buckeye, I think that FOO isn't a Danimation Spotlight. If it's not, what is it from and who built it?

Also, Mechanical Evil you have labeled as a Dassel Design when it won spotlight i believe.

Roomie, your version of 'Orange Valley' is wrong. I opened it up and it's a micro park. I do have the original because it's on Tyler's parkmaker page:

There are two versions of the park in the zip on NE's servers. Does anyone know if both of these maps were part of the original Spotlight release on Danimation?

thanks, but Legend's Challenge was a steel coaster competition, i think, so that's probably not it.

Hmmm. That's definately by Alec though.

some clarification for you gee:

-foo was a gag spotlight for the very last spotlight, where dan posted foo but really on foo's page was a hidden link to the real spotlight.
-mechanical evil was a dassel design.
-the special edition of orange valley was released a few years after danimation closed if i remember correctly.
-shibby monkey by poseidon is actually poseidon by shibby monkey which was an early alias i used on danimation but you'll be lucky to find that one as i had a hard drive crash and lost all my old parks and i was complete shit back then and i doubt anyone saved that park.
-i am almost positive that gigaforce31889 is the same as gigaforce.
-unfortunately i can't help you find any old files but i was wondering if you had a rct park called "century gardens" or something to that affect that has an egyptian themed coaster called temple's twist?

I have a folder and it says Danimation and those two parks were in there, so I have no idea who did it or whether or not it was or wasn't a spotlight. Mechanical Evil was labeled as is, I didn't label it. I just downloaded it that way from danimation before that page of the site went down.

I have two Winter Wonderland's..one by GRocks is that Joe Holland? and one unknown...not sure if either is what you are looking for, but here they are. I do not have Santa Park though.

The only Greg Reese I had was Hershey Park. I have Joe Holland's Sandia Peaks and then Generations by Joe Holland and Liquid Crash.

that would happen that the one i don't have a pic for by joe holland is the one we can't verify! darn..

the winter wonderland not by g-rocks is too big to be from the danimation contest. can anyone confirm that g rocks is joe holland? Becky, is there anyway you can check the 'Date Modified' last for the winter parks? If the one by g-rocks is around the time of the contest 2000-12-23 then it is probably the one by joe holland or it could be another submission for the same contest (they got tons and pick 1st, 2nd and a runner up i think) when i download the parks the modified date changes because it's not in a zip archive...

guess it would make sense that 'Malawista' is where he got 'Mala' from, I just didn't make the connection.

Xtreme One is Drew. I've verified this. He had tons of different aliases.

This gives me a chance to bring up something thats bugged me for a bit.
Back in the early days of NE their was a contest in which i finnished 4th with the first iteration of a Tower Coaster. I think it was called "The Guardian". But the contest is no longer on the contest page.
