I have almost a whole park layout drawn out for a park called "Starland Dreampark" unfortunatley the odds of it ever being build are quite slim.

^thats a shame
And JDP, shoot me a PM but I do wonder whether a Pretzel Loop is right on a Tussaud's flyer. Obviously Air was a prototype. But then again, the 'planned' flyer for Thorpe had what looked to be a Pretzel in it's layout. -

I tought that also of fantasy when I first drawn it. -

No problem JDP, just trying to help, oh and finish your themepark quick, and apply again for Majesty then, I would love to work with you on something. -

^Yeah man no doubt.
Yeah, and the way it enters and exits the pretzel fits the theme nicely so it should look unique enough.^thats a shame

My confession- I really dislike all the secrecy when it comes to screens these days. All that leads to is everyone else complaining that NE is becoming lame because not many people show much of anything. Just my opinion.
Solution to lameness= show your screens publicly. -
Louis! Offline
^That's not why NE is lame.
And a lot of the time people show screens to a select few to get an opinion before releasing it to the masses.
The only reason JDP would send me a screen would be because he is going for a specific atmosphere with a Tussaud's park, which considering one is my home park, I know a lot about them. It's not secrecy, it's advice. -

Then why is it lame? I understand showing a select few but why not show the masses to get more of a consensus opinion? -

dude the only bits i don't show are the unfinished stuff and stuff i just don't want to show prior to a release . -
nin Offline
Yes i realize that, but tbh I haven't seen much where people don't show stuff. Sure they may not show everything, but what's the point if you're going to release the park; you need to have some surprises. Personally I think the whole "secrecy" thing is just another cause to all of the recent fights taking place on the forums over the past few weeks. -

Yeah, Louis is giving me advice on the park. Everyone else is gonna have to wait until the area is finished so I can get a nice completed screen.

Well that's because they're so secretive about it.
well I think i'm considered to be secret about my park. that's because I only want to show things which are finnished and I know i''m a slow builder. so I show only little parts of what I make. so the tensions don't get to high cause else I probally would have showed the whole park 3 times already in screens before it came out. -

My issue when it comes to this is guys who show their park to only a few people throughout the entire building process. It seems as if only a small number of people's opinions matter. I'm not trying to pressure anyone into advertising unfinished screens. -
Levis Offline
well I only show my parks so you can enjoy it. noones opinion matters to me. sometimes I ask someones opinion about a screen or something like that. but thats then because I've got to choose between two things and can't decide. then I hear if someone has a good argument to trow into the equation. -
Cena Offline
^ That is how it works for me too. I show a lot on msn to a select few, they give me major tips, when I advertise screens, I post the finished things -

I suppose maybe if I was in the "inner circle" I would feel differently about all this...
