RCT is titled a game because there is objectives to be beat, once we take those away it might as well just be a utility for art such as Google Sketchup

I like the way you worded that. Whenever I try and explain to someone that RCT is an art, they refuse to believe me.

RCT is conceptual as we create what we like within the rules we set ourselves. It is art as well as a game as well as a modelling tool and what makes it so inspiring is everyone can keep expanding their enjoyment and their experience of the game. Whether you build for 5 minutes or an 5 hours, it's still a way to create something better than real life or imitate the ground we walk on. How can anyone not like it when it's that creative?

These last few posts have been exactly what I've been thinking lately! RCT is just fun, it's exciting for me to imagine something and then be able to build what I see. And it makes me so mad when you want to show someone what you built and they're just like- "great, go outside. nerd." I heart NE.

Most people I know who have heard of the game have three opinions

1. It sucks, go get rct3
2. Yeah, I guess it's kinda fun, I have played it once
3. Go outside...

Some of my friends know about this hobby but they never called me anything. They know who I am.

I showed my mother my H2H5 parks, she was curious why I was so busy. She was impressed.

i got the original rct when i was like 9, and me and my buddy used to play it everyday.
then we got rct2, and one of us got decent at the game, the other got bored and stopped playing altogether lol.

now he's vocalist in a screamo band, and i'm playing in another band.
its kindof funny how we both still love this game though lol

I play RCT when I am with my family, on school in class, and during the breaks. If they want to judge me about that, fine, I don't care about that. Everyone has it owns intrests, if people don't like mine, fine. 

Btw, Goliath, weren't you the one, who was 33? When I would be about that age, and a friend of mine, told me he was playing videogames, I would already think it is pathetic, let alone be it RCT, hahaha. 

My point is, you play this game for yourself, and  you don't have to talk about it with friends, everyone is different.

Same. My parents were shocked to see how a map starts with absolutly nothing and end up with a full fledged park.

Cena most adults still play some games you know, stuff like wii fit is big for adults. besides my friends hardly play anything thats why i get called names, most of them play cod 6.

I've never heard of Farmville. I assume my parents don't play it.
