I play around in LL pretty often, but never make something I would find worty of showing. Ever.

Turbin3 is correct, you can still open it, bye using a small thing to press the button of it. I do it with a needle, to press the little button in ( a small gap in your frontcover of the CD drive) If you can still read disks then, it means the mechanism for opening/closing is broken, but the laser is still working to read the files. 

No it's jammed. Actually what happend was, something apparently fell on it while there was a disk in the tray(it was Rct2 ironically) and the disk shattered inside the drive. So I took apart my computer, cleaned it out, and now it still won't open...

I have thought about a No-CD crack but I don't know if I can trust those.

I use a no-CD patch for my game and it works pretty much perfectly. No problems with parks or hacking at all. The only problem with it is when you return to the main menu after working on a park, an error message displays saying "Unable to load file... file contains invalid data" and an empty landscape workbench shows instead of SFMM.

I'm planning to blow the community away with no custom scenery.

Confession 1: I don't play RCT2 anymore for a while now, much more interested in testing Ruse. 

Confession 2: I was doing a design, that would blew everyone away here. 

Confession 3: J K will Probably motivate me so much that I start playing again and finish DFS. 

Confession 4: I life in the same city as where Levis lifes. 

Confession 5: Whale Wars is a good series on Animal Planet / Discovery Channel

Confession 6: I downloaded 70 GB of data this month already

Confession 7: I am playing Ruse often which is gonna be the best game released in 2010. 

I really want to play again and I have a lot of ideas for a time line park, but whenever I start building its no fun to me and I get bored.

any advice?

^^ You could try another game like RCT3. However, if you're getting bored, that's saying something... that perhaps you're not building what you want to build. Get mad ingenious, bud. GO NUTS! SLAUGHTER YOUR BRAIN WITH EXCESS THOUGHT. Okay never mind. You just need a different approach. Something new...

Happened to me as well a few years ago. The disk had a crack in it and shattered while trying to play the CD.
