Oh, and the real reason is because I feel that I sacrifice quality in my work by trying to please the community and post screens, and hurry up to finish things. I feel that if I separate myself from seeking public approval, I can regain the quality I know I can have. Oh, and gee, I guess you might be right; I am an attention whore...
Dude, this is exactly what I did when I was building SAP&R. Best idea I ever had. Good luck bro.

I am taking a break from the community, so less screens ,less commenting, etc... Once my project is of sufficient size, I'll advertise. For now though, I feel like keeping it to myself...

you understand the point I'm making for a while now it seems .
I think this is a very good step . all great builders in the past advertised only sometimes. its not needed to give a update each day (altough I still want to do a video log of making a park once ). -

I guess it's broken. If it doesn't open, maybe it doesn't read the disc too. Have you thought about using a no-cd crack until you fixed the disc drive? -

Turbin3 is correct, you can still open it, bye using a small thing to press the button of it. I do it with a needle, to press the little button in ( a small gap in your frontcover of the CD drive) If you can still read disks then, it means the mechanism for opening/closing is broken, but the laser is still working to read the files. -

I actually haven't been visiting NE much lately due to college stuff.
But I have been working on a Design that I hope to advertise next week. It's actually over half way done, which makes it only one of three projects that have made it that far. (The other two are Oceanus and Le Tonnerre.) -
