Again, I think that it seemed deliberate. It wasn't filler for filler's sake. It contributed to the atmosphere imo. -

Now people... please stop building 'one thing at a time'.
I never did.
Slow progress, but no burnouts --> less failed projects. -

It depends what filler like sammy says. If your going for a big theme take for example harry potter your ideas have to be greater then the general theme, as long as your ideas are good the archy should follow. If your creating an atmosphere sometimes only filler can produce that. -

^ I actually am stumped as to have an opinion on that. But it sounds like your "Harry Potter" idea leads to a cluttered park which leads to poor composure and an ugly overview with no complete 'picture' or 'message'.
I may be wrong... -

Its not an idea for a park of mine as such but an example for a big theme that only great ideas could pull off.
To me the most memorable parks have the most impressive ideas in. The best atmospheric parks have good, detailed filler. Its just how I see things though. i could say "filler" and you could think landscaping and foliage where I could mean archy without a real purpose.
Its an interesting subject. -

Uggg... Let's say this.... filler is just unplanned parts of a park which you felt had to be there in order to achieve a feeling of it being complete.
Case in point? Filler is imperfection and the result of poor planning. Therefore... I hate filler. Cause who in the world designs a theme park then decides they need an expensive flat ride to fill in the blanks? Or if it's plants.... fire Walt Disney. -

i hate filler.
if a building does not have a specified perpose for the park, its something to fill up space. a prime example is louis' park which i am working on atm. building after building after building after building... (sorry love )
Yeah well that park is pretty old. My LL has changed dramatically since then.
Anyone fancy doing a guest spot in a 75-80% complete park? -

No. RCT2.
Aberystwyth Gardens. Anyone fancy it? I just need someone to build a couple of stations so I can get my inspiration for the park back. I want to finish it before the end of the year you see. -

That's easy, just use zero clearances, place the objects where you are going to put the water, and then use zero clearances again to raise the water. -

I don't think so... It definitely doesn't give off a "New England vibe" if ya know what I mean...
