That was such an interesting article! Sounds like a Dan Brown book haha. The analysis of the Bad Romance video is a good read too. I wonder if there's any truth in it... -

I quite like her music, but the main reason for that is because its her own style, its original and i give her props for that. Her first couple of songs were clearly aimed at the charts and the kids (just dance and pokerface), to kind of 'draw' people in and become fans. Afterwards it was clear she started to branch out and create her own style and videos, paparazzi is a clear indication of this with the weird storyline to the video and the outfits etc. At first you think 'god thats weird' but then you kind of get used to it as there is probably a reason behind it (that illuminati article comes to mind).
There are a couple of pieces she's done that don't suite her whatsoever, like featuring in Wale's 'Chillin' ( http://www.youtube.c...h?v=-XwxKVBNbrQ ) - a bit too 'street' for her IMO, then there's the new one by beyonce called 'Video Phone' that also makes you think..."Hmmm not sure if that really works" ( http://www.youtube.c...h?v=CGkvXp0vdng ).
Anyway, she has her own style, originality and music...sooo for me I actually look forward to what she does next. BTW, did you know the giant bathtub she used in her x-factor live performance cost £52k? WTF
At least she's one of the few artists nowadays that can sing live, here's a vid of her before her lady gaga days, as her real name Stefani Germanotta http://www.youtube.c...h?v=NM51qOpwcIM (must watch)Edited by Marshy, 07 January 2010 - 06:20 AM.
