agree with nin, keep the mowed grass and add a tall fence to block access to the coaster's supports, but don't put the fence right up on the path, so essentially people could still 'walk' in the grass. -

Just to clarify, that area next to the coaster supports without the fence is a maintenance area for the transfer track. So there are really no guests over there. Thanks for the comments so far guys. -

yes but even backstage areas need proper fencing and low-zones. i've heard of a few times where workers have gotten killed by getting hit by trains during test runs and such. even though there isn't a low-zone here, there still should be proper fencing where someone could easily climb around on a structure like this. -

Yeah. People think entering a restricted area is a risk worth taking. However that risk can lead to a head chopping moment to end your day at an amusement park.
No matter how high a fence can be, people still think it's a risk worth taking. I mean, that kid did get his hat back but now needs a head to put it on!

^ Ha, I was there that day.
Looking pretty nice as always. I've always been in the school of when in doubt, fence it. Although everything else right now is looking pretty nice and sufficiently detailed for the type of park. Really hope to see it finished. -

"Stampede was built in 2008 by GCI after a six-year coaster dry spell for the park. This great coaster came at the expense of a few older rides including one track of the Silvermine Log Flume, and The Elevator Shaft. With this new wooden coaster a huge success, the park decided to close down their older woodie Thunder Run, which was losing popularity due to roughness. Thunder Run was demolished in early 2009 and replaced by a new coaster which will open in spring 2010." -

Love the GCI. Only thing i feel i should constructively criticize you on is your photo shop. Looks a little blocky if you ask me. -

Yeah, the photo shop building could use a little work (that pirate wall looks out of place), but the rest is fantastic. No complaints at all man. I'm so pumped to see this released. -

well damnit, I just wrote a long reply and my internet stoped working, urghh. So in short what I was going to say is that it feels like youve taken a step backwards in your architecture and detailing. The tent and photoshop in particular look pretty bad compared to what you can do.
I do have a request though, would it possible to see some of the waterpark?
Also, your dates confuse me, is it a timeline style park? -

Sorry, but I dislike the architecture in the first screen. The mud and pirate walls look out of place and the window objects are ugly in any setting (so that's not your fault). The coaster looks really good, but I miss a concrete base for a better GCI-feeling.
If you work on the architecture and the park is well peepable I think you might have a chance on winning spotlight. I'm looking forward to the release! -

The GCI is amazing!
Just remove the pirate-things from the photoshop and add some windows.
And add some details to your roofs like chimneys.
Looking forward to the release! -

In response to Austin55, this isn't a timeline park in terms of each update being a new year because with 75 years in the park's history, that would be kinda hard to do. However, all the rides have dates on them from what year they opened and I like to include a bit of background info in the updates as a preview for what's going to be in the write up. The new 2010 coaster will be among the last of the updates when summer comes around.
I've gone back and re-done those buildings from the first screen. However, some things like the tent will stay the same because Cedar Fair realism takes priority over excessive detail in this case.
Much appreciated on the comments guys. -

This will be the last update on the water park since that part is essentially done now. Just need to finish a few structures and landscaping. The rest of the park is coming together nicely and should be ready to submit in a couple months or so.
Patriot Racers is a Proslide 6-lane mat racer built in 2000.
I don't really want to give too much more away, however I feel I can benefit from tips before calling this done. This is my first attempt at a kids' play structure, so nothing too elaborate. It's based off the one at Waterworld Concord. -

I would consider getting rid of as many square corners as possible. Since it's a kids play structure, you probably want as much roundness as is feasible to eliminate the risk of injury. You could try adding some sort of 'fort' in the middle of the bridge part as well with ladders and maybe another slide or two. Maybe even some monkey bars extending out over the water to drop from. Also, add some legs/armrests to the lounge chairs so they don't look so bare. -

Try moving the stairs closer to the slides in the first screen, they don't like too good on their own. -

I like it.. but there's not a lot of room from the bottom of those slides to travel through. Kiddies might get some rashes on their rumps if they get a running start into that slide.. which, as a former slide-runner-into myself, SUCKS.
The rest looks okay, but add some color! This looks like a summer camp water area, you want PIZAZ! -

I love it some of it does look awkward but I'm not really the authority on waterparks. Or anything else for that matter.
