Nice work! Good supports, and exciting layouts. My only real problem is with the Mine Train Coaster, I think that there are too many helixes, personally, I would only put one or two layers, and then move into the turn.

    It's been done before

Nothing really ground breaking but nice nonetheless.

Thanks for the comments. Though the coaster looks similar to Magnum, the coaster is basically a remake of Mamba, but with some aspects of Steel Force added. I figured with this being a Cedar Fair that is not a former Paramount park, a Morgan hyper would be better than a B&M hyper.

The "perfect flowers" were simply meant to be un-mowed grass and weeds right up along the fence separating the railroad from the coaster, but now that it's mentioned, they do look a little bit awkward.

    Now onto the update...

What Cedar Fair park is complete without a jack-hammering rib-crushing spine-shattering woodie? Thunder Run is a Hurler clone RCCA death machine built in 1989.

As close to perfect as you can go in RCT2 for a fully functional S&S Turbo Tower that looks legit. I owe this one to Gee's Winhack tutorials.

I forgot about this from the dump place when I started the topic. Here's Afterburner, one of the few remaining Schwarzkopf shuttle loop coasters still operating in their original location.

I'll be interested to see how you did Hurler. I ditched that in SFC because there was a whole bunch of straight track required at the bottom of the drop. And those huge corners...

What you have so far as very nice looking. I like it a lot. Definitely gives off the Cedar Fair feel. Looking forward to it.

Some of it's a bit sterile, but I still think it's really damn good for the most part. I'm pretty blown away by the S&S tower's peepability. I just wouldn't have the patience for stuff like that haha. I am interested to see how you worked out the top of that thing, with there being three towers instead of the four that most people use.

I like the sign that you did in the first picture. It's simple, but it works.

Love the triple S&S ride... Love how you made all 3 peepable somehow..

I really like the work you're putting out. Nice stuff man.

Sorry for bumping, but is this still going on?

I really like this park and I'd love to see it finished. :)
  • RamSam12%s's Photo
Yeah dude this park is still going. I haven't posted lately because I don't really have any more finished stuff ready to show off. I've been really busy lately with college and life in general, so there has not been much time for me to really get anything done. Hopefully after this semester is over in a few weeks I can get back to work. Given where this park is at right now and the rate of work progress, I'm expecting to have it completed and sent in for release over the summer.

Okay I lied, I do have something ready. Just to show this is project still alive.

The Haunted Shack was built in 1955 and is based off the one that used to be at Knott's Berry Farm.

Really nice screen man. Everything's so clean cut. I still feel like some bolder colors would help you out. Maybe some flowers somewhere? Flags along the path? Cedar Fair seems to do that a lot. A bit more chaos within the river-side foliage would be nice as well.

But I really do love the look of that building. Don't know anything about the haunted shack, but that building has got a real nice form to it. Clean and well thought out. The log flume looks great as well.

I'm just really looking forward to seeing this thing on the front page eventually. I could always tell from your older work that you have a great eye for realism, and I think this park will showcase that. Keep it up man.

Looks amazing, really loving this park. That is by far the best Intamin FGFF I've seen man. And the last screen looks amazing. Def. has that frontier look to it. Less is more I always say, and you got the right idea.

As some said the hyper looks like Magnum... other than the color, what resembles Magnum? I would def. go with what he said and say it resembles Steel Force and Mamba.

I love this park, please finish it! :)

If you need some help, I would be honored to help you. :p

Once again, it's been a while since the last update, but during the winter break I had lots of time to work on the park. I have been doing lots of work around the park with landscaping, adding to rides and other random work, bringing everything closer to completion. I also got started on the waterpark section and have a good portion of that built. With that said, I can realistically say I have about 5 or 6 months of building left, allowing for the unpredictability of free time to work during my spring semester. Should be due for an early August release if all goes as planned.

The Hayride train is the park's original ride.

Soak City draws people into their attractions with thrilling names like Castaway Bay, Patriot Racers, and Cyclone Falls.

Loving the path border, but maybe add a fence between the path and supports?
