    In 1935, Woodfall Park opened in Indianola, Iowa. The park, currently operated by Cedar Fair, claims many firsts.

    Vortex, built in 1991, is the world's first complete circuit coaster to feature a "cobra roll" element.

    Elevator Shaft is the world's first Intamin 1st-generation freefall ride. Being a poor design and a prototype, it took a lot of maintenance to keep it open and was taken out of service in 2004.

    Boomtown Mine Train has the world's first triple circle turn on a roller coaster. It's part of a section of the park themed to a California sliver mining town from 1885.

    War Bird, built in 2002, combines styles from both early and modern B&M inverts.

    Very impressive. I really like what you've done with it.. feels very Cedar Fair. Keep it up.. I'm really looking forward to seeing this finished-- it's all very well put together.

    Nice, I love it, especially the freefall, I love those things..

    The first pic looks a little oversupported to me, I think you can replace the two supports with one in the middle on the center of the cobra roll. Along with taking out the middle support on the hill leading to it and out of it.

    Looks like a fun park, although I do think that "War Bird" is a bit too much of a rip-off of Raptor for my tastes. Perhaps a support color change or name change would work.

    the invert looks great.
  • gir%s's Photo
    Very cool, I like how you're sort of rewriting history.
  • LDW%s's Photo
    The invert looks like it has been inspired from rapor in cedar fair. :p
    Anyway, those 3 turns on the mine train look like a bit too much but that freefall is one of the best I've seen in a while. ;)

    All screens are looking really good, I especially like the inverter.

    What I don't like that much is that 1xxx° helix.

    Keep on building! :)

    I like these pictures,too, because everything looks so clean. The only thing I don't like are these roofs at the que of the "freefall". Two colors would look much better, I think.

    nothing against you Ramsam, but i find youre work to be pretty boring. theres nothing to the screens which really draw me in.
  • Comet%s's Photo
    Nice screens. I really like the foliage but it might be a little bit too overgrown around the Rotor.

    Looks really great. The First Gen Freefall is especially impressive, man. The only thing I can really say, and I suppose I could say it for most of your screens, is that a little wider usage of colors would serve you well. You seem to shy away from bright colors a lot, and that's one of the things that really can bring a park to life if done right. Nevertheless, great start and I look forward to seeing how this progresses.

    Oh, and you better have an Intimidator ;)

    This is great stuff!

    The invert, floorspin and the 1st gen freefall are awesome!

    In the first screen I don't like the suppports at the entry and exit of the cobra roll but the rest of them look fine. And I'm not a fan of the helix.

    But I love all your stuff and this is no exception! I can't wait to see more. :)

    The invert looks great, but not sure about the mine train though.
  • J K%s's Photo
    I really really like your work.
  • Six Frags%s's Photo
    Yes, this definitely reminds me of Cedar Fair. Really like the clean look of this, although you may have to watch out for some overtreeing in the second screen (maybe spread it out more or add some mowed hills?)..

    This park looks very impressive and shows a lot of improvement for your other parks. I am not sure about the supports for the boomerang, I think you can do more realistice ones than that. Plus an emergency catwalk between the corkscrews of the cobra roll would be a nice touch. The first gen Intamin drop ride looks awesome as does War Bird. Also not a big fan of the huge helix on the mine train. Aside from that, this is some really great stuff

    Listen to him^, especially about the cobra roll. ;)
    Other than that, this has already become my favorite topic at this time. It shows huge improvement from your earlier work, I'm just hoping that it doesn't end up being slap full of that concrete path you always seem to be using... I know it's CF, but at least make it appealing! :lol:

    @CP6 - Thanks, and that's what I am going for.

    @Luketh - I might change it up.

    @MF72 - That's the idea of the ride.

    @gee - Thanks man

    @gir - I guess I am lol

    @LDW - The mine ride needs to stand out somehow.

    @Turbin3 - Will do

    @Colorado - Thanks for the suggestion.

    @Sammy - Thanks for the help...what the fuck?

    @Comet - Soon to change. ;)

    @Burns - Thanks man, and don't worry there are plenty more bright coasters as well.

    @Airtime - You and everyone else

    @Alpengeist - Same

    @ J K - Thanks

    @Six Frags - Thanks. Maybe.

    @inVersed - Again, thanks, but the coaster is not a Boomerang

    @nin - Thanks, and I'm taking this a bit more seriously this time.

    Anyways, with college back in session for the fall, building has been going slowly. Hopefully I can get enough done for another update soon.

    Judging by the supports, the blue corkscrew coaster seems to be inspired by Drachen Fire, so yeah, the catwalk on the boomerang isn't necessary.

    And, I'm probably the only one to think this, but I feel like LIM trains would look better on that coaster. They're closer in appearence to the trains used on Drachen Fire than the game's corkscrew trains I think.
