Aw shit.. If Miami hits the top ten from not being ranked.. I'll have to kill myself.
And RCTNW... WTF? lol... nice call? -

Turnovers in the red zone certainly didn't help Corps confidence at all (remember, this was HIS first collegiate start today) and, he looked so freakin' timid after his pick. Man, the way SC opened up holes for the backs at the beginning of the game, I thought it was gonna be a rout. Then, after the turnovers...Sarkasian & staff having as much knowledge of SC's system as they do...just took advantage and slayed the giant.
I'm still shaking my head.................... -

And this is why I love college football
Luketh, you certainly did not mean Miami will move in top ten...Miami will move up but Florida State is the real winner this week as they were unranked and beat #7 - Miami was ranked #20 and beat #13...shouldn't move them to top ten.
Anyhoo, GAWD...why didn't WE beat USC? Because of our coach's ridiculous play calling...and so Washington took advantage...thanks James..yes, good call!
But, Kong and ESPN analysts...it wouldn't have mattered who was QB IMO, because the scores were similar here although reversed and we supposedly HAD the good QB...of course, it helped Washington that we beat up two of their players from our game. I don't know..I'm thinking this will not be USC last loss this year. They are not the team everyone thinks they are..and one final note..it was excellent to see that USC lost in the last seconds of the game..what goes around, comes around, eh? Revenge for us in a way.
Buckeyes rolled which was good, I didn't watch it after halftime cuz I went and played golf instead. Cincinnati took care of business. I wish MICHIGAN STATE would have beat NOTRE DAME..
Overall, another good Saturday of football. -

By no means do I follow college football however I do try to follow the Huskies when I can. The last 6 years have been very painful to watch and the old Huskie swagger has been missing with not only the fans but the team as well. Almost to the point that we expected to lose and the team believed it. Coach Sark and his staff have done a fantastic job of changing the coulture, and mindset that we can play and make games exciting again, even if we do lose. That is a huge difference and it all started with the season opener against LSU and even though we lost, it was still a fun game to watch.
Yesterdays game was just what we needed to cement the culture that Sark brought over. Even though we may only win 5-6 games all season, it's a start that Huskie nation is on it's way back and we will be a contender once again in the near future.
As for the game, The key to the win was our defense. Stopping USC in the red zone during the middle portion of the game kept UW in the hunt and fuled the belief that we can win. Let let a team like UW start believing and you will have a hard time winning a game. Is USC the better team, with out a doubt they are however UW wanted it more.

I hate UNC with a passion. They won off a bullshit call. A UNC defender pushes an ECU blocker into the UNC QB as he's running out of bounds, and they call roughing the passer. WTF??? They turned the whole damn game around. On a side note, I wasnt at the game but Russell Wilson now holds the NCAA record for most completed passes without an INT. And he's only a (RS) sophomore. -

Yesterday was absolutely amazing. I sat through every home game of the 0-12 season last year (plus the Whoregon game at autism stadium) and vividly remember half time of the UCLA game sitting there thinking that this was the lowest husky football has ever gotten.
Just seeing the whole build up to this.. I've gone to most of the practices and to see the change from the first spring practice, to the first fall practice, then the close one against LSU and now beating USC after losing to them 56-0 (the year before) is way faster then I ever thought we could get turned around.
After the game it was just chaos. I was sitting in the dawg pack (student section) and there was just a constant push behind me to get to the field. once i got to the field i was hugging people i didnt even know and slapping high fives with the players while jumping up and down screaming. the coolest part was running into jake locker and telling him he is the man haha. what a saturday.Edited by SupremeScreamer, 20 September 2009 - 06:50 PM.

Cinci's looking pretty good, I dunno their schedule, but with all the upsets that always go on in College Football, they could easily make it up there, and possibly stay. -

I would like to Cincy in the Top 10 too. They got a pretty good team, easily the top of the Big East. I'm just glad noone here is a Tarhole fan. I feel sorry if you are.
"We're the Red and White from State,
And we know we are the best.
A hand behind our back,
We can take on all the rest.
Go to hell Carolina*
Devils and Deacs stand in line.
The Red and White from N.C. State,
Go State!"
*Note: Actual words are Come over the hill, Caroline...but Go to hell Carolina is sung by Wolfpack students because of the huge UNC-State rivalry :-P -

lol my cousin was a tarheel before he was drafted:]
so although i strongly dislike their football team, due to them being ACC rivals of the canes, i still like their baseball team lol
andrew still holds basically all of the pitching records at UNC anyways;] -
