Think about it...
There was over-ruling guy, for some reason definitely a guy, that was there before anything else, and for some reason, using some powers made billions of planets and solar systems, and suns for humans to live on only one of these planets, thought up all elements to make up all those planets.
I think about it every night in bed, and I wanna believe, but... -

God is something that we will never be able to comprehend, no matter how much we speculate on the matter, or how much that we think we know.
If what the bible says is true, then no man will ever be able to understand his glory.
He is infinite, and to my understanding, the concept of something being infinite is pretty hard for me to grasp.
For me, i have been places and experienced so many things in my life that at this point, it is utterly impossible for me to be able to deny the existance of God.
I have seen too many things with my own eyes to refuse the fact that he is who he is.
Now, thats just my take on this.
I dont judge, or criticize anyone else based on their beliefs.
And i hope that some of you guys will do the same.
this is just my take on my God.

I wish for all New Element members to give their take on God. What is mine? I am schizophrenic so apparently that means I think I am God while I'm all tweaked out because I'm pretty sure the devil is chasing me every time I drive for a reason even I myself am not sure/ aware of...
people are stupid. -

Lots of people interested in GOD. I see all the views and "last click".
But I thought nothing mattered and we all came from a worm? -

My take on God is perhaps not so clear, especially to myself. However, I will say that religion brings out both the best and the worst in people, and that is mostly why I find myself conflicted, I think. I am a Methodist, as I was raised, but I definitely don't agree with all the doctrines of the church, nor many of the people! -

^ well as for the Methodist thing,
[this includes all other "denominations" and such.]
a lot of these groups tend to focus on things like traditions and rituals.
you know, like "well its always been done like this, so we might as well keep doing it like this''
from my experience with people and friends with a highly traditional relegious background, a lot of them focus on what to do in church, how to behave in church, what the proper behavior is, and stuff like that, when the real issue is their personal relationship with God.
Now dont get me wrong, i'm not speaking against any particular religion or denomination at all, i'm talking about people viewing God as simply a 'religion' or a doctrine.
He is someone you have to develop a relationship with on your own, not by following a little rulebook.
i cant stand it when i hear some people generalize all christians as 'religious'.
Religion can be defined as : a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices.
(according to Merriam-Webster)
i for one, am not 'religious'
i follow my God, and trust in him.
and its simply that.
i dont try to conform to any other peoples ways of pleasing him or living for him.
maybe i dont know what i'm talking about, and am just babbling on and on lol.
but i do know this:
Religion was created by people, not by God.
(and please, i'm very sorry if i offended anyone, i really did not mean to!) -

^ YOU DO NOT OFFEND ME, and I hope no one else, Josh. Though, this is a no no on the internet. I think you're supposed to talk about World of Warcraft or Pokemon or something, not this stuff that's all retarded and doesn't matter.
PEOPLE ARE STUPID.
Back on topic, Josh, you are very sane... even though i've never talked to you until now. People created religion, yes, in fact, the very first RELIGION created was SATANISM. idiots. GOD............ JESUS has nothing to do with religion. screw people. GOD is what it is all about. you know... creator of the universe yadda, yadda, yadda....
WE ARE WRETCHED.
HUMBLE YOURSELF.
It isn't about you'
figure it out people. logical order of things.
and yeah, read that one book..... what's it's called?
Well it aint the instruction manual to World of Warcraft.
I'll just post this, whatever. -

The more and more I think about it (and I have thought about it quite often), I come to the conclusion there is no God. Maybe a higher power, but not a God. I just sit and think that there have been so MANY occurrences in my life and in world history to make me believe there is no God, and then there are so FEW occurrences to make me believe there IS one. I always find that science is far more logical than religion, I guess. -

Exactly what I was trying to say. -

Why is there beauty in the world? Why does the wind blow? Why does every living thing have instinct to live? Why do we think? Why do we feel? Why do some trees bare fruit? Why are we creative? Why are we artists? Why does everything in the universe make sense and have a necessary order to exist? Why are there physics? Why is there gravity on the Earth to keep us from just floating into the atmosphere? Why is the brain so complex in it's structure? What do emotions look like? What is the mind? Why do we dream? Why are we here? What is the meaning of life? What is the soul?
Guess it really is just random and meaningless. No mind behind any of this. Can't believe everything works. Though that one book explains all of this perfectly clear, we can't believe that, cause we think we're smarter than GOD.
