Well I did try having two two balanced teams and went 2-3/3-2. I figure I need to get the 3-2 team to 4-2 to stay near the top and make the playoffs. If im lucky I can get a 2-4 team in as a six seed if I can go like 5-2 or 4-3 to end the season. Don't worry Keli, I'll find a way to win the league and keep my $30 -

Yeah...unfortunately (unfortunate because my Hookers were looking at 4-1 until Gould kicked two long FG's Monday night to edge me 91-88...a kicker, Deano) both my teams are 3-2 so I'll just let the best one win this week. Besides, I'm looking to get both of my teams into the playoffs to have twice the chance of knocking your ass out and taking your money -

My wide receivers are fucking brutal
If anyone's interested in Ryan Grant or Jonathan Stewart for a solid #2 wide receiver I'd be interested to hear offers -

Yeah...all my receivers were brutal today too. But, in a different way. My big bye week...I hope that Garcon and Moss can step up for one fucking week....and V.Davis puts up a whopping 1.8 at TE. You're welcome JDP.
Unless, of course, I can get one of those 35 point outputs from the Jets D/ST tomorrow..... -

Kong, my point is not that kickers and defense don't score points. Clearly they do and clearly they are often the difference in matchups.
My argument is that the amount of points they score week to week is highly random so the value of one particular defense or kicker over another is minimal when you're setting your lineups. -

Yeah Deano, I get what you're saying. My theory is that certain defenses scheme to create turnovers (Saints in their Super Bowl season, Jets and Niners this year) and are therefore more likely to put up big fantasy numbers than defenses that focus on limiting the opponent's scoring (Ravens, Chargers, etc.). So I like to have a D/ST that, week in and week out, is more likely to create turnovers and thus put up bigger FF numbers. Which places a higher value on them in my eyes. Also, a kicker on a team that has problems in the red zone (Chargers, Jets) is a godsend. -

Devin Hester was brilliant last night and donovan mcnabb got his ass kicked and to make it worse ponder came on for the 4th quarter and was brilliant in comparison, Will be interesting to see who starts next week Looking forward to the buccs and bears @ wembley -

Was fairly nervous against Chapelz even if I just needed 12 yards to win... Also K0NG NEARLY pulled off a major comeback on JDP. Still could if the stats flux overnight, which is not that rare.
So basically...
Deano 6-0
Kumba 5-1
.
.
.
Everyone else 3-3 or less
I might need to hit the trading block for week 7 where I got a lot of point scorers going on byes... -

Damn, K0NG I was hoping the Jets would pull that off for you, so close
Anyway my team is so inconsistent and frustrating, hopefully it starts to turnaround soon -

Well...didnt figure out that Addai wasnt playing and Mendenhall was playing over Redman until 15 minutes after kickoff. Not that it woulda helped me much, but yea. I hate working saturday nights... -

Well somehow I have the highest projected total this week, which is good because I feel like I really need to win this week
How many teams make the playoffs? -
K0NG Offline
BTW...you got me by one point as far as projections this week. But, be reminded that I was "projected" to beat JDP by about 30 last week...and we all saw how that turned out -

Jeez deano I don't think I've ever seen someone play the right people better than you do
Especially benching Larry Fitzgerald for Mike Williams, and great move picking up Demarco Murray
Anyway, another shitty week for me even though I might still get a win out of it -

Yeah keep winning Deano, will make it all the more sweet when I take you down week 9
Looks like my match is the only close one with me up by less than 10 with Boldin left to go vs. Cundiff. Im running to the endzone with only the kicker to beat, lol. I needed Peterson and Cam to save me with the Raiders and Baldwin scoring a combined 1.5 points. On the bright side Gates is clearly back
Will post a full mid-way point league update sometime this week... thanks to you all for volunteering in droves to help write them... -

I love absolutely nothing about my week 7.
Chris Johnson is apparently still holding out...he had less total yards than Arian Foster had fantasy points and brought a whopping 7.5 to the table...barely more than Santana Moss and Pierre Garcon combined (7.3)
Rashard Mendenhall had an earth-shattering 4.2...
Vincent Jackson had one catch for 15 yards and 2 pts....
And Benjamin Watson filled in admirably for Vernon Davis scoring a Davis-like 1 fucking point.
I had a projected total of 126 and ended up with 54.6
Good times.
