It's a fair enough trade. WR1s for WR1s, I'm giving Lance Moore up as well, plus Bryant can't seem to stay healthy. It's clearly not collusion so shouldn't be vetoed! Phatage can use the depth and I could use Bryant's ceiling.

Guys make sure you post here first when you make a trade. I was at work and did not catch that last one. It was just a small deal, but if it was a bigger deal I would have had to posted it and then have 24 hours pass without it getting vetoed.

Anyways Adrian Peterson is a fucking horse, so I'll beat Phatage this week even with Andre on my bench. K0NG will win too and amazingly finally have a winning record in Oct. Deano is down by a lot, but has 3 Loins going who are capable of surpassing JDP's 100+ showing. JKay put up a huge number to beat 3-1 tdub, now 3-2 tdub. Chapelz will win too unless the Lions D/ST goes nucking futs for Comet. Also it will be close to see if Panther can hang-on against TG.

One thing is clear, myself and Deano will be #1 and #2 after this week.

Also anyone have a good D/ST to trade me? I have a pretty deep bench of guys I could trade...

The way the 49ers D/ST has been playing (possibly the waiver wire steal of the year?) I might be willing to trade the Jets D/ST for the right price.

Really Deano? Yeah maybe you got a steal with CJ for AJ, but he did help me a lot in my first 3 games. He'll be back week 7, not to worried. Also yes you have good RBs, just mine are better. I even just got Jackie Battle for free off waivers, oh and Tebow and the Raiders D/ST with two weeks worth of cupcake match-ups. My bench is so deep the only player I could drop is Antonio Gates!

You're joking, right? He needs a D and I need a QB...we both get what we need. What's wrong with that? People other than you are allowed to make deals that actually work for them, ya know?

Well, my argument would be that while you can get 15+ defenses many just as good as the 49ers off the waiver wire, you can't get a Tony Romo quality QB there. But hey, if both you guys think it's improving your chances I'm 100% fine with it. Just looked wierd to me, I've never seen defenses be valued that high. I consider them and kickers junk to be switched in and out each week but appreciate everyone has different strategies.

I think from Kumba's side, he had a good QB sitting on his bench and needs a D/ST that can put up solid numbers every week with an occasional monster game. I know how important D/ST can be...I had a 35 point lead wiped out last season by the Pats D having a monster, 38 point Monday night. That's why I grabbed the Jets D/ST in the 5th round before anyone had a chance to get them....before I picked a QB. I think that unless you have one of the top 4-5 QB's, you can switch them out depending on matchups each week. Same philosophy you have on D/ST and Kickers. And, I had two of the top three ranked D/ST's that are both capable of doing just that on any given week. One of them was going to sit on my bench as well.

You've been blessed by big-play guys putting up numbers week in and week out so far so your K and D/ST haven't been much of a factor yet. But, I've seen far too many FF matchups truly being decided by a kicker or D.

Was not much to think about imo. My 3rd best QB for the #1 D/ST so far this season, with a VERY soft schedule when it counts the most. Now it's not hard to argue that Romo was my second best QB, maybe even best QB, but I like a QB that also runs and therefore gets rushing points too. Cam seems proven, ranked #2 after 5 weeks and it turns out he's got a hell of an arm. Tebow runs even more and looked good passing to me in that near comeback win. He helped me win championships last year in the two games he started in. Now yeah Romo is good, darn good. When the Cowboys score it's on TD passes more often then about every team. Still a few weeks ago we saw them settle for 6 FGs.

So yeah I am fine with this deal.

Oh me too, I lost to the Baltimore D scoring 3 TDs on the Jets in another league a couple weeks ago. I just don't think you can really predict defenses or kickers though, so much is out of their hands. Alot of people might have predicted Rodgers as the top QB, but who would have said the 49ers would be the top defense come week 5? And given you can't predict them... I don't think they have that much value. For instance, I bet at least 10 other defenses outscore the 49ers from here on out.

But Romo as Kumba's 2nd/3rd QB is fair enough - when I first responded I assumed Romo was his QB1 so my apologies for that.

Speaking of cocksuckers...Darren, I just checked the DT league. You said that you really had no #1 team there. Yet, we're all playing against our own teams this week and your Mudcats have a projected total of 160 while your Amphibians project to 46. I'd venture to say that the Mudcats are, without a doubt, your #1 team. Just sayin'......
