Got board with mock drafts, so I set our draft for 7 mins from now. Don't worry we'll draft for real in Aug and you can still view last year's rosters when you click on league history. Also some of my picks might be to throw you off

I got an email about it AFTER it happened. It was all the results, so I was relieved to come here and see that it wasnt for real haha

I am pleased to announce that we now have not 1, not 2, but 3 new teams added for next season!

Leading the GoAheadScore Geckos will be... Deanosrs!

Leading the Ghetto Mafia will be... JKay!

Leading Seal Team 6 will be... Phatage!

There could be more new teams, but for now that's three new big names in the community. They all should be solid players. Deano is an avid FF player and runs a popular FF website, GoAheadScore.com. JKay has played in my Florida Fantasy Football cash league for a few years and will finally join us this year. He's damn good, so look out when he shows up on your schedule! Phatage will be new to FF, but is very knowledgeable about the NFL and if his RCT work is any indication he'll be VERY hard to beat.

We'll need to see how things go, but these three players could end up replacing the teams owned by In:Cities, Maverix and Panther. They all failed to update their rosters regularly last season. Still a larger league could be fun, so for now they are still part of the NE FF family.

Last but not least there will be a practice draft tonight at 9:45 PM EST with all 15 teams just to see how it goes. Must of it will likely be auto-draft, so it sure as hell will not count in any way, shape or form

Sign-up for the 2011 season is now open. I hope we can have 12 teams again, maybe more. Added myself, last year's co-champs and the new guys who joined earlier this month.

I hope to see many of the players from last season come back again, we had everyone back from the first season in the second and that worked great

Also last season In:Cities, Maverix and panther33 failed to update their rosters multiple times and even started players who were on bye weeks. Because of this I would prefer you don't sign-up again this season; however, if you post an apology and promise to keep your rosters updated I can sign you up. If you guys have a really bad week and can't find the time I guess I can understand that, but each of you guys had it happen at least 3x.

For the draft I think we might do it on the forum like a week or two before the season, or maybe try and use a draft-only site. Last year to many people had to auto-draft, so even if it can be really slow with a posting draft it's more likely you can get a team you like.

panther - I am not going to sign you up unless you explain what happened last season and apologize for your inactivity. If you do that and promise that you can be active this season I'll sign you up. Still if we end up with an odd number you could be the odd-man-out.

Nice to see we have 12 again, but I will keep this open till after the first round of pre-season games. Then we'll do the draft and the madness will begin

Hey what do you guys think of maybe making this a dynasty league? All that changes then is we keep all our players after each year and just draft the rookies.

Heck maybe we can have a second NE league for that, because the issue with a dynasty is your kinda stuck with who you get.

That's only gonna work if the league stays the same every season. Too much turnover here for that. Plus, I'm not real happy with my team from last year anyway.

But, I do like the new option of being able to pick individual defensive players this season (if we're gonna use it, that is).

Well we'd draft our dynasty teams this season, not fair if we find out now that that team was the one we'd have forever.

Also IDP... that's pretty complex stuff... think it's better to keep this smaller. IDP is popular at Deano's site, goaheadscore.com maybe look into playing it there.
