That 39 point D/ST from the Patriots on MNF and the coin flip this week doomed me. My chip is gone and my chair is broken. League note: Im giving myself 6 points (rather than 5) for Carpenter's 60-yard FG. Don't know why it's 5 for 50-yards and not 6 for that, but I'll add it for you guys if your kicker does it. This one was the first this season.

Is the extra point necessary, or are you just being an ass?

ESPN has:
3 points for any FG up to 39 yards
4 points for FGs 40-49 yards
5 points for FGs 50+

So im adding to progression, it's the first this year, not like I am going back and changing anything. Also you seem to be pretty good at being an ass yourself.

So why don't you penalize every FG under 30 yards with the same progression? There's no reason to ammend the scoring structure in week 13.

Under 30 yards is still worth 3 points. Not having 6 for 60+ is an error by ESPN if you ask me. It's 1 extra point, get over it.

I don't think it's an error at all. I've never seen a scoring segment for 60+ and it's really unnecessary to bonus yourself an extra point in this situation. It's coming across as "hey look what I can do!"

lol, this is almost like saying, "i hit that shot from half-court, so i get 4 points." i don't think the extra points affected the outcome of the game (even though it was really close), but i have to disagree with this on principle.

Nice, wrapped up the division title. Good game JDP, we had a pretty good battle for first going all season.

Alright, I'll add the 6 points for 60+ FGs next year... and 7 for 70+ FGs... hey they have been attempted before

Match-ups:

#1 gir vs #8 Top Gun
gir finished the season with a stellar 11-2 record and thanks to the he's the #1 seed. He's facing a hungry Top Gun who finished the season hot and went 3-1-1 in his final five games. These teams meet once during the regular season and gir got an easy 86-67 win. This playoff match-up could prove to be a little more close as right now gir is only projected as a 9 point favorite. The winner will face tdub or Chapelz.

#2 Kumba vs #7 Comet
This was what many people expected to be the championship match-up last year, but Comet was beat in the semi-final and Kumba took home the championship. This year Comet is not as stacked and Kumba is a little banged up with his "Big 3" at RB down to two. Even if the current projection is very much in Kumba's favor those are never that accurate and Comet will not go down without a fight in this big match. The winner will face Maverick or JDP.

#3 Maverick vs #6 JDP
Maverick has been the best of the expansion teams this season and burst out to a 5-1 start that was capped of by the first of only two wins vs. our #1 seed, gir. JDP has been great most of the season, but did hit a bit of a slump in the middle. In their only match-up Maverick took home a 100-94 win. This week they might play another close match-up, only with much higher steaks. The winner will face Kumba or Comet.

#4 tdub vs #5 Chapelz
tdub might be 7-6, but he comes in having done something no other team did. He went 4-0 and owned his division. On the other hand when outside his division he was only 3-6. One of those loses was to Chapelz who actually has a better record, but did not win his division and thous gets the lower seed here. As with most 4 vs 5 match-ups this one looks like it could come down to the final drive. The winner will face gir or Top Gun.
