Terrible week for my team. 3 steps forward 5 steps back...

picked up Michael Bush and the Falcons D this week and they came through in a big way

My QB second guessing coast me points twice! Not that many at least. Will need a good game from AP with Shiancoe matching or bettering Keller to get a win vs. tdub who should have owned me thanks to Romo, Forte and CJ2K. Thankfully Ray Rice finally had a big game and Lloyd went off on the same field. Also I guess he did not get the memo on Hartley

Damn, Josh lost by 1 point. Guess it totaled Favre's INTs late. Shit... UPDATE YOUR ROSTERS PEOPLE! I don't think im the only one that might be a little ticked off he lost with a RB on a bye-week in there, I mean now instead of Mav being 3-2, he's 4-1. I was hoping to be the only 4-1... and I need to wait till week 12 to beat Maverick

Wow Farve gave me a bit of a scare there. And Lewis has a monster TE game on my bench while Finley gets hurt early. I'm not pressing my luck anymore....

We had a wild ending to week 5 on Monday night as three games came right down to the last drive. Kumba narrowly beat tdub on the second to last play of the game when Favre hit Shiancoe, Panther held off Comet whose Jets almost got him the win and Maverick won by all of one point when the final stats were adjusted this morning and found an extra INT by said Favre. Oh and guess who won again? Yeah, girrrrr. We'll just keep adding r's as he adds to his now 5-0 record. Panther's win removes him from the bottom of the standings where he was winless; however, K0NG was not as lucky as he fell to 0-5 and caused a 4.7 earthquake in southern California. Week 6 brings us one huge match-up as gir takes on Maverick in a battle of two teams that are a combined 8-0 since week 2.

Also later I will be sending you all a PM with a reminder to update your line-ups. I have decided that if you guys consistently fail to remove players on bye weeks that it can coast you entry to the league next year.

If you gamble and leave an inured player in that's ok, or if to your knowledge someone is playing, but gets de-activated (like tdub with Heartley) that will not get counted against you. Just no excuses if there is a bye week. We got guys like Deano and JKay on the waiting list for this league and I want to keep the level of play high.

This PM will just be to inform you guys that you could get passed over next season, not to tell you whose on a bye week, you guys need to get on that on your own.

And I guess you wouldnt be interested in a trade for him now, he might be somewhat valuable if he gets the job back...

I just realized that Brees is on the cover of Madden NFL11. Anyone that doesn't believe in the Madden jinx...I'm open for a trade for a solid RB.

^My turn to ask you what you're smoking? I mean, it's fucking Drew Brees. He's still probably the best QB in the league...I just believe in these jinxes/curses (like the SI cover...Bush was on it for the USC shit and broke his leg) and figure something's gonna go bad. I'm certainly not unloading him for a mediocre back.

In my pre-season rankings I only had him as the 5th best QB, so go ahead and keep him. I just really don't want to break up my big 3 unless big Ben is a dud, tho yeah he is clearly worth a lot more then Wells, I was just testing how bad you want an RB

Shockey's also still available as well, since I probably won't play him because he and Gates have the same bye week. So, maybe a package deal with Brees & Shockey for a good back and??? Any offers just PM me...I don't really like doing talks out in the open.
