5 minutes in and JDP's 4 Eagles are looking like they can pick up that 70 points they need -
K0NG Offline
Well, unless the Niners completely shut down Fitz and the Cards D can score 19 points, Chapelz is goin' fishin' and me and Kumba square off one more time for the right to play in the championship. So......is it "third time's a charm" or "three strikes and you're out"?
BTW, the Eagles are seriously making a game out of the JDP/Pelicans matchup....down to 19 @ halftime. If they can replicate that in the 2nd half, we might have a close one here. -

aww well i would have beaten every team besides In:Cites.

We have all come a long way and now only the top half of our league remains. K0NG landed a big, yet narrow win over a resurgent team Chapelz. In:Cities finally got the JFP Monkey off his back with a 123-100 victory. Now its just the top seeds as Comet, Kumba, K0NG and In:Cities will duke it out for the championship.
Match-up previews:
#1 Comet vs #4 In:Cities
Comet took the lone match-up between these two in week 7 with a 106-90 win. Comet has not lost since and that was the third win if his amazing eight game streak. Surprisingly the ESPN "experts" projects seem to like In:Cites current starters more and is projected to get 137 points to 127 from Comet. Still I think it might be close. Yes the Pelicans seem a bit stronger this week, but Chris Johnson is not the #1 fantasy player for nothing and might blow-up to get Comet yet another win. This one has all the makings of a high scoring battle royal. I think the winner here will be the favorite going into the championship.
#2 Kumba vs #3 K0NG
Such a great rivalry here even if it does tilt to K0NG's favor since he swept the season series. This week the match should be pretty interesting. Most of Kumba's guys had huge games while he had a bye week and gained nothing from that. It was the other way for K0NG as his guys only managed 75 points. Consistency will be good news for the Iguanas, but the Apes would not like to see that. Oh and don't let the three consecutive losses fool you. Kumba won his "other" league championship a few weeks ago coming off one of those. Also he really wants a second championship for his birthday... which happens to be next Sunday, lol!
Good luck guys and if your one of the four teams that is out you will have a consolation match. It does not really mean anything and only effects the final standings, but it gives you a reason to go ahead and set your lines-ups. -

I just put Bowe in for Edwards because although Edwards is capable of a 15 point game I really can't afford one of his 2 point games this week
I also picked up Jamaal Charles, and I'm having a really hard time trying to pick only two out of him, Addai, and Moreno
Edit: Man Kumba, I know you didn't really have any say in it but things have just been going your way in this league
First you get the first round bye and now as the 2 seed your going up against an 85 point projection while as the 1 seed I'm going up against a 137
Also made my decision, I'm going with Moreno and Charles as they are the most likely to get the carries throughout the game, especially in the red zoneEdited by Comet, 17 December 2009 - 04:11 PM.

lol, yeah I have gotten a little lucky. Tho I doubt that is K0NG's final line-up... yep he changed it since you posted, 98 now. Only since Clark went nuts again (yet dropped some key passes) and I got 21 points from one of the lowest scoring positions in fantasy football I stand a pretty good chance of pulling it out. Also seems that 137 was not for nothing as MJD had a strong game and the Colt's kickoff return saved In:Citie's D/ST from a shitty 4 point game. So after one game in Florida I think we might have a Florida vs. Florida Championship
Good luck Josh. Id love to get some bragging rights with a win over JKay AND you, two parkmakers I can bother on the phone and sometimes in-person -

I can't believe you fucking got 22 out of Clark. Not a good start from my vantage point considering I was barely able to scratch together a 99 point projection out of my team. I'm gonna have to go out on a limb again and play my hunches and hope they over achieve. -

Same to K0NG, well unless Shiancoe gets enough points to overcome my 16 point lead, outscores AP, the Vikings D/ST and Smith/Jacobs (have not decided which yet) on Monday night. Sorry to see you might fall short due to your top scorers being on the bench, that is really a pain in the ass when it happens.
Sorry to see Comet get blasted like that, I was hoping I could end his streak myself. Got In:Cities in the championship tho which is looking like it could be a hell of a match -

ahh sorry about that comet.
you had a great run going on. i hate to be the one to end it lol.
i think its kindof ironic to be facing darren in the championship, because i've never done this before, and wasnt even going to consider joining up until he texted me randomly one day and told me to sign up lol.
did anyone else watch the jags/colts game thursday night?
my god that was a great game.
even though my jags lost, it was still a blast to watch:]
