^^ Same here....I went from 2-2 to 6-2 and sole possession of 1st place, now I've lost 3 in a row and I'm getting nervous about holding on to a playoff spot. I just hope Shockey gets me 12 points tonight so I can get off this fucking losing streak. -

Not upset since I had Brees in my other league where I was in the simi finals match and won big thanks to him and Gates. Also I can still get the #1 seed if I win and gir beats Comet. I'll post the playoff picture tomorrow. I think everyone has a shot to get in since four teams will be tied for last at 5-7. -

When the dust settled after week 12 we had a new #1 ranked team as Comet Breezed by Kumba with a Monday night comeback. Not only that, but four teams are now 5-7. ANYONE CAN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS! Here is how...
ZX-Comet (8-4): He has a playoff spot and a first round bye thanks to his tie-breaker over In:Cities. However with a loss and a Kumba win he will slip to the #2 seed since Kumba will likely have the tie-breaker.
X-Kumba (7-5): Can gain the final first round bye with a win. Can also gain it with a loss by In:Cities. A win and a loss by Comet and he retakes the #1 seed.
X-In:Cities (7-5): Needs a win and a Kumba loss to gain a first round bye and the #2 overall seed. He cannot win a tie-breaker with Comet or Kumba.
K0NG (6-6): In the playoffs with a win vs Kumba. A loss and it gets very complicated. K0NG will want to root against the 5-7 teams and hope three of them loss as that is his best way to get in if he cannot win.
Top Gun (5-7): A win and he should be in. His high total points scored should help if any of his heads up tie-breakers are split.
JDP (5-7): Needs to win and have a lose by Chapelz and gir.
Chapelz (5-7): Needs to win and have JDP and gir lose.
gir (5-7): Needs to win and have a lose by JDP and Chapelz.
X = Clinched a playoff birth
ZX = Clinched a first round bye
A little more info on how this is done:
PLAYOFF SEEDING & TIE-BREAKERS
When your league converts into playoff mode the system automatically generates a seed for each team in the league based on the regular season results. The seeds determine where the system places each team in the playoffs. The primary factors which determine seeds are:
1. Division Winner(s)
2. Winning Percentage
In the event that two or more teams have the same winning percentage at the conclusion of the Regular Season, and have played the same number of Head-to-Head games between them, the following tie-breaking system determines the seed:
1. Overall record
2. Head-to-head record
3. Overall points scored
4. Division record
5. Overall points-against
6. Coin Flip
Good luck everyone! -

Looks like Comet had no mercy on gir. 145 points is the most I have seen in a league I am in. Also no one on his team really went crazy with the highest score being 22. Anyways basically only one match is still alive. Chaplez just needs 7 points from Green Bay's Jennings and Driver. Thats a deep catch or a 10 yard TD and it could be either one, almost no way he does not get it. I need 52 points from Rodgers to beat K0NG... just had bad karma there and his WRs killed me...
Oh and speaking of Jennings and Driver thats what it comes down to in my championship match vs. JKay. I am up 99-96 and have Jennings to go tonight while he has Driver. Will be really close!
Also an updated, simi assumed standings:
1.) zx-Comet
2.) zx-K0NG
3.) x-Kumba
4.) x-In:Cities
5.) x-JDP
6.) Chapelz
7.) Top Gun
8.) -gir
So yeah all eyes on Chapelz vs Top Gun tonight, but I have other interests in Jennings and Driver... -

Yeah...the funny thing was that I threw Meachem in on a hunch and he turned out to be my top scorer. He hadn't been doing much of anything lately but, I'm glad I followed my instincts this week. And, DAMN...I wish I could match up with you EVERY week....I seem to have good luck when I'm against you. This beatdown was almost as sweet as Kobe's dagger against the Heat Friday (which I was in attendance, 6 rows behind Jack and the Miami bench as one of my B-Day gifts....nothing better than watching the Heat players heads suddenly drop from 15 feet away).
Anyway...is that it for the reg season now? -

My current facebook status reads: F*** YOU KOBE! :-(
2 people like it, a few commented on it, Cork of course being one of em...
Yes the season is over after tonight. Also as you should be the #2 seed and me the #3 if I win my round one match we should meet in round 2. Third time should be a charm -

After 13 long weeks it all comes down to this. The playoffs! Six of the eight of us made it. Top Gun and gir came up short, but I would like to thank them both for playing hard and keeping things very competitive.
Match-up previews:
#3 K0NG vs #6 Chapelz
These two split their regular season match-ups was K0NG took the first match 116-81, however Chapelz got a 86-76 win during his late season comeback. Even with a late season comeback Chapelz will need a little luck on his side as most of his best players find themselves in some tough spots. Could be close, but the top seed seems to have an edge here.
#4 In:Cities vs #5 JDP
These two again? Yeah they just played a tight one where JDP pulled out a late 85-82 thanks to Tim Hightower of all people. If you think that was close I will take you back to week 6 when JDP got a 121-120 win thanks to Brady and Moss going insane in the snow. That might have been the best match we had all season. I hope this one can stack up to it. Looks like it will be close, just JDP's team has some injury issues.
Bye weeks: #1 Comet, #2 Kumba
Good luck everyone!
Also a bit of confusion with the seeding... I clearly said at the start of the season I am making tie-breakers head to head match-ups. Me and K0NG finished with the same overall record (7-6), however he beat me in both our matches. Here is where it gets tricky, In:Cities also finished 7-6. So it's a 3-way log jam for the #2 seed. I beat Josh in both games in the season, so I have that tie-breaker. He beat K0NG in both their matches so he has that tie-breaker. Basically it all cancels out so the league computer reverted to the second tie-breaker which is total points score. I happen to have scored the most points during the season, so it gave me the #2 seed. Sorry I was not able to see this coming when I did the playoff scenarios. -
Comet Offline
My main concern is Brees being subbed out after the Saints get towards the end of the regular season, hopefully they stay undefeated so there's incentive to keep him in through the end
In that case I'd have Orton as my starter, and he's too inconsistent
The rest of my guys should be in it through the rest of the season though, except maybe Addai but he's easily replaceable by Slaton or Moreno -
gir Offline
I'm with ya, haha. The two NC teams got knocked out of contention.
I knew it would hard to beat Comet, but damn dude, 145 points? I don't think I even had a chance if some of my players hadn't laid an egg. -

btw 145 is second most. Top Gun had 148 week 6. Myself I won a match-up in another league by 80 points (132-52) that same wild week 6. Also that was just two weeks after my season worst 40 point showing for all my teams. Oddly that was my strongest team going 10-3. This stuff can get pretty erratic. -

Marshall 32
Peterson 25
Clark 22
Schaub 20
Ravens 14
I should be happy, but why could they have not waited till next week... I hope they have something left over...
Looks like K0NG and In:Cities will take their match-ups, so then it would be: #1 Comet vs. #4 In:Cities and #2 Kumba vs. #3 K0NG -
In:Cities Offline
yeahhh sorry about this JDP.
andre johnson basically has more points than your entire team at this point lol
guess i just got lucky that my team is playing good today:]
