(Archive) Advertising District / In the land of Fairytales...

I've been working on my new park, which is yet to be named. The park will be themed to fairytales, so all the rides and most shops will have something to do with them.

Besides the fact that the foliage may be over done, I think it's fantastic.

im not sure where I came from but I put a lot of foliage because it was supposed to be a swampy sort of area.

If it's meant to be a swamp, then those pointy trees sort of ruin it for me. The boarded-up house looks brilliant though!

while i do agree that you overfoliaged a bit, its still a solid start.
but like gir said, you should definately take out those pointed trees if you're going for a swamp theme though dude.
i dont know the exact name of the tree, but i suggest maybe using this tree>>>


i think it fits a swamp theme pretty well, but thats just my opinion.

Wow, ice, that's pretty sweet. I don't really like the wings on the bridge though. They look kinda funny, I think. And I'd go with one path color, rather than two. Or use a different type for one.

Okay, I'm done being nit-picky. Nice work!

I used the honey locust tree(pictured above) in place of some of the pointy trees. I took some out aswell. I also removed the wings on the bridge, and it looks a little better now. The path is uniform brown tarmac but will likely change later on in the park.

I tried to find an animated gif of pingu getting mad for mine but I couldn't find anything.

Screen is nice. I feel that the green from the foliage is overpowering, break it up with some different greens.

Unfortunately I will not be updating this for a while since life gets busier day by day. However, I have decided to expand this park. The fairytale part will only be 1 section of the entire park. more to come.
