Ask the Experts / Using Scenario Editor to Change Scenery

hello. Say I have a save game, and I want to import different scenery. Instead of using that program (whatever its called), I opened the save game with scenario editor. Here is the question...how do I convert the landscape back to a save game file? I tried to make it into a scenario and then play it, but I keep getting an error trapper. help is much appreciated.
