I saw it last night and I for one am slightly disapointed. The book as absolutley fantastic. I loved 5 6 and 7 (sorry sammy) the most out of all of them as I loved the ongoing relationships with the characters really interested me and by no means was the 5 book boring.
I only feel let down because I was looking forward so much to the castle scene and seeing how it all developed. Also in the book didnt dumbledore freeze potter so he couldnt do anything? If potter was willing to chase after fenir and Bellatrix then why didnt he save dumbledores life? in the book dumbledore froze potter because he knew he would have been fighting no matter what the situation was. It made it a more powerful scene that harry could not do a thing. Slightly confusing but non the less the film was crucial to carry on the series. I loved the book as it was so good with a bigger focus on the characters that looked out for potter outside of school. I can't help being disapointed by it even though i did enjoy the film. -

That's what I'm talking about J K. There are somewhat small things that would have been so easy for the director to get right. Like having Dumbledore and Harry appear up in the tower. He should have had them apparate outside the castle, which would have been closer to how it happened in the book. -

I saw it. It was good.
Also, the reason the shack blows up is to provide natural dramatic lighting to the following shots.
