    Great Britain and Ireland and all the other little islands around are the British Isles. Great Britain is one of those islands and the UK is a Unitary state with a Constitutional Monachy (Country that is made up of 4 countries/sorvereign states with has a queen/king). UK and ROI are the only countries in the British Isles. Isle of Man and Channel Island = Crown Dependencies and Falkland Islands, ect. = Overseas Territories which are remnants of the now defunct British Empire. Overall, these are part of the Commowealth which contains Australia, Canada, ect.
