And everyone said iris was the greatest captain ever for taking his team to the championship twice, now its 3x for my Hurricanes :kumbasgreen:

Id post one of those neat maps of who did what, but its pretty simple:

disneylhand: Duelers layouts, some supports, hill & Augustus's villa, front facade on the dueler's station, most of the stuff right around the vineyard and two small buildings on the canal.
nin: Front facade on the rapids, both watercannon buildings.
    Kumba: Everything else.

Also I guess for a now I can enjoy a H2H record 6 wins... just geewhzz and Magnus could match it ;)

Flying Germans you have been the monkey on my back since I started in H2H3. We were 0-4 againest you, so I enjoyed this win alot! Congrats on a really good park, you gave me a few near sleepless nights when this thing started up. Good luck going for third. Also thx to dlh and nin for the help, tho yes I hogged it most of the time which worked as you guys were kinda busy and I had nothing better to do

So anyways I think we got a real shot as repeating as champs and we have taken our extension for the match, so we have more time then... well I guess the Whzz Kids, we are looking to pull an 07 NY Giants on you :p

@Level - i'm not gonna say who's going but i just have to say that its kinda obvious if you look at it closely

The plan was a Thorpedo solo, but he had to drop out :(

Oh, I thought it was our secret Corkscrewed/Fatha collabo...

    Woops, said too much.

Robbie and J K in the final is my guess... seems like the best route of either solo, combo or duo.

To clarify who done what on our park:

    RRP:

    -Big One layout
    -Wild Mouse layout
    -Space Invader layout
    -Big One Box Supports
    -Big One Transfer
    -Shoot the Chutes
    -Roads, Outside Paving & Trams
    -Small white pavilion

    Sey:

    -Outside Paving
    -Games & Sideshows outside park

    Louis!:

-Finished off outside paving, roads & tram stations.
    -Finished off Shoot the Chutes.
    -Everything else.

So in the end the park was mainly built by me just so we could finish the park. RRP & Sey are planning on finishing the park to how it was meant to look.

Thanks to all the voters and well done Hurricanes :)

congrats to louis in finishing this alone, even if we didnt win it was definately appreciated (even if you did remove all the decent parts).Ive been working on this since louis took the last version and finished it up so expect to see a pretty different version of this when its finished properly.Well done with the win canes although like stated earlier i thought your park was more of the same old same old and i really didnt enjoy it due to the fact that half the park was a reasonable size and the other half was far to big.

Haha, yeah. I had to remove them though :p I didnt know how to finish them and they would have looked odd :p Looking forward to your version :)

I am happy with the result. Both parks were excellent in my opinion. Hurricanes are in the final! There is gonna be some competition! :)

Wait, did you do the Cyclone coaster, Louis? If so, well done, dude! Probably my favorite ride of the contest.
  • Louis!%s's Photo
Yaha! My favourite coaster I've ever built :D So thankyou very much, it means a lot.
  • Sulakke%s's Photo
Wow! I didn't expect Louis made most of the park. You've done a great job this round! As did all other builders on both parks. Didn't expect nin either.

Congrats to Hurricanes for entering the finals! :)

Vampyre and Southport? Two real top notch parks you took part in dude. I know you built three but week one and the playoffs park really shown your talent here. I hope you get some more work done so you can earn a rightful parkmaker spot because you blatantly have the skill.

So glad we got to the finals because I believe we really deserved it as much as the Germans. Kumba did what I couldnt do and beat you guys. A really tough match here. Both are teams I think have this seasons best matchup both times we met eachother.I Hope to see the Germans against the hurricanes again next season.

I'm glad the 'old' Kumba is back. I love DRC and The Rosetta Sphere, but his work after those became less detailed... This might be even better than DRC, IMO! The Hurricanes really deserve the win and the finals-spot here. Congratulations and good luck!

    And another one.

    Southport Pleasure Beach:
From the overview it looked like a clear winner, and it was really nice in game too! I liked the details in the games in front of the park, the coaster lineup (the big one, the woodies, the Eurofighter,...) and the whole english seaside Blackpool feel it has. As I don't have RCTModified installed, the entrance huts at the trolley in front of the park bothered me a bit. Shouldn't be too hard to sink those entrances, eh? In some places the park looked unfinished - the catwalk of the Big one wasn't finished and floated, the Shoot the Chutes ride wasn't working and some attraction seemed to be placed just to be there. Also the back area of the Big One was a bit strange. Why didn't the park build something there earlier? Unused space like that in a park like that makes no sense to me. The coasters - especially the cyclone and the Gerstlauer were really nice. I loved the Cyclone. The wooden mouse looked also nice. Great work on the ride selection! I think some more specials were missing in the park, the Shoot the water rides were unique and added to it, so was the parachute ride. I just wished there were more rides like those in the park, like a unique carousel, a darkride or something. The carousels and the drop tower were just too boring for the park imo. All in all solid work guys!

    Roman Vice:
As soon as I saw the overview I knew who did that and I was glad that he's back to his 'old' style again. The readme really added to the park and explained a lot. Sometimes the park was really confusing for me. There was so much going on everywhere, there were huge buildings on one hand and small details on the other and it was hard to figure something out. I liked the more 'tame' areas of the park, the market area, ostia and the colloseum for example. Those two palaces were too huge for me and I found them ugly. The station of the duellers was huge too, but it served the purpose pretty well. I loved those two coasters. Really unique and well done! The park was nearly on the same level as the Testament. Really nice fantasy work guys! The rapid ride was.. unique but I wasn't a fan of it. The open air theatre was a good idea and also well executed. Still have to view the park to find some new stuff, it's just sensory overload for me and I like more 'ordered' parks. haha. I liked this park and glad you're back to your old style, Kumba! Also well done the others!

I thought Southport would appeal to me, being a more realistic park, but I actually voted for Roman Vice. Roman Vice had a ton of cool stuff in it, most of which was very unique, and all the buildings and structures were just really really impressive, particularly the Colosseum. Southport was good, but was definitely stronger in some areas than others. I felt that the Whzzkids seaside park a few weeks back was much better and so when this didn't add anything extra, that kinda took the shine off it for me. Also, it's all well and good getting inspiration from a park, but this was waaaaay too much like Blackpool Pleasure Beach for my liking... to the extent where it was in places, bordering on recreation. Still, a good job, but despite not being my 'taste' exactly, Roman Vice's concept and execution was better IMO and it just brought something a bit different to the table.
  • Louis!%s's Photo
I don't see how it was bordering on a recreation?

None of the rides were a recreation, the only ride similar to a Blackpool coaster was The Big One & Wild Mouse, but even then they have extreme differences.

Plus the layout is nothing like Blackpool's same goes for architecture, land elevation, foliage and what not.

I think the only thing you could call bordering on recreation were the ride names and the fact it was meant to be right next to the sea.

Now I feel bad though as I've ripped into another of your posts, I dont mean it lol, I'm just after a bit more of an explanation :p
