Delta Desert Base - didn't work for me AT ALL. The duellers looked good on the overview, but I disliked them in game; waaaay too fast, crap pacing. I didn't really get their concept either... you kind of imply they're meant to be real coasters (supports etc etc) but then the pacing is rubbish and one of the rides crashes... I just didn't get the concept. They're somewhere in between trying to be a real attraction and just trying to represent an event. The other coaster was fairly good, but the chain-lift was too fast - the pre-ride lab tour was cool... but that alone wasn't enough to save the park.
The Hurricanes' park... from the overview, I didn't think I'd like it. And this is such a risky idea - submitting an 'abandoned' park. But you did execute the idea superbly. THANKFULLY you included a read-me which explained the concept - but even without it, the map oozes atmosphere, and despite being abandoned, you do get a real sense of what it used to be like... you can imagine how it used to be so full of life. Even though there are hardly any operational rides, the concept of the whole thing actually was the strong-point, and it evoked this 'story', which made the map actually quite gripping. Also, kudos to actually nailing the 'old architecture' - this does indeed look like an old park which is very removed from today's modern theme parks. Good job. -

Last post, I swear.
To mock me for writing what I wrote is to assume English is a dead language. Basically, it's not clever and makes you look like a douche. It's also stupid and ignorant. The connotations of words, and even the denotations, change as time goes on. At this point shit has at least three definitions. 'Feces', 'something awesome', and 'something really bad'. I was using the former definition and if you couldn't tell, you're either an antagonistic asshole or you're an idiot.
Also, the last time I heard the 'Oh so you know what *insert bodily waste here* tastes like' joke was second grade.
I think it's interesting that very few people defended the park and instead attacked me.
What am i invisible or something?
I backed you up all the way on this, and i still agree with you -

Sorry minutemen men ive just added another vote against you. While i thought the initial concept was nice it lacked follow through. It felt more like a design than a park. What i mean is the focal point was the alien escape chase and everything else was just supporting the main ride whereas with the canes everything seemed as important everything else -

My vote goes to Hurricanes.
The abandoned theme park is very well done !!!!!
Nice idea! -

easy choice...the hurricanes park was brilliant! Great job guys!
I think that idea could be pulled off better, and I am sure it will be some day, but for now this is an excellent starting point. Shame to see those beautiful vintage coasters in such sad shape.
Thanks for realizing a concept park I have always wanted to see!
the minutemen park was alright. I loved that you made dueling coasters and the explosing was a nice touch.
all of the weapons and vehicles were done well. I think it was very lacking in scope though. I think twice as much effort would have made this park into a real contender. -

This is the weirdest match-up I've seen so far. A dead park VS a living park? Hmm, let's see...
Minutemen: "If y'all see any 'Canes, we'll blast dem wit dem tanks over thar! They're nevur to know!" .
Ok, now since that's out of my system: The idea was cool, but the park lacks execution. I mean, the giant dueler was really interesting, but at times, it loses flow (for instance, the part when the alien coaster shoots straight up). The smaller coaster, on the other hand, was really cool. Also, you could've done more for the theming, such as adding a crashed UFO sight or more military buildings. The idea was there, but it needed to be better executed.
Hurricanes: I swear, when I looked at this park, I though there was going to be a Left 4 Dead moment there. It's so eerie and abandoned... sweet! This is a really cool idea, and the execution was well thought out. I mean, sure there isn't anything moving (or operating, for that matter), but it really makes you think of what this park was like back then before it got completely trashed (well, for me, that is). You guys executed the idea superbly, and that's what only a really good team can accomplish.
The 'Canes won it all the way for me. The atmosphere, the decay, the... uugggghhhhh... vomit; it was all executed superbly. It'd be really cool if you re-created the park when it was operational, just to enhance the theme even further. I mean, I live near one, and comparing this to the real life, it was on par. Will you guys win with a "dead" park? Who knows; there's still two-weeks 'til the Semi-Finals! But for now, I wish both teams the best of luck, and may the best man win.

Congrats on the Win Hurricanes!
I really liked your park. The detail was great, especially how it was placed where it needed to be, and not everywhere. It really helped add to the atmosphere of the park, in a way drawing the eye to certain parts to demonstrate your theme. Don't know if that was intended to be that way, but it was great. That being said, i did feel that parts of the archy were blocky, but that didnt really detract from the park in any way. My only complaint with the park is the lack of activity...but that is kinda to be expected. I mean, how do you make a park that has activity but is also abandoned. not easy, but i thought just something active in some way would have really caught the eye well..just not sure how you would have done it. Overall, it was a great park and a very clever idea. all the workers being drunks and hobos and such was great. Congrats again on the win.
With our park, what everybody said is completly legitamate. Even when we were looking over it we thought it was missing something to tie all the elements together, we just didnt know what, or have the time to fiqure out. Once the park got rolling, we had so many good ideas, we just ran out of energy and time. That being said, i loved this park. When i started H2H i was getting bored of RCT2, but spending the time to come up with how to make a computer in RCT2 or how to make a tank that actually looked like a tank, really brought the game back to life for me. I really enjoyed making this park, and im really proud of the work i have put into it, so at the end of the day, I am fine with the outcome. Thanks to Nokia for Working with me, had a ton of fun with it, and it was nice to have someone to help me. Hope you all enjoyed the park as much as i enjoyed building it.
Congrats again Hurricanes, and Good luck in the playoffs.

FK yours and Nokias work was really dam good and perfectly executed. if it had more of this I think we'd have been in real trouble. Awesome park anyway dude, you need to build more things like this. Ideas are the key to having so much fun with this game!!! -

JDP & Gwazi for MVP, both 2-0
MM you guys really did some good work this season even if your record does not seem to reflect it. Congrats on at least getting good parks in every week. -

^Haha, good one! I definitely thought Kumba was one of the builders of this park, but guess I was wrong..
Good job on Renaview guys, it was one of my favorite parks this season.. I loved the whole atmosphere in there, and although it didn't have working rides (well, unless you turn on the mouse coaster, fix the woodie or turn on the flats) I really enjoyed looking through it and spending quite some time in it! I also really loved the inside jokes in there, such as the drunken teenagers, the body bag and serial killer.. The little things and details are also superb, such as the pool, skee ball game and other destroyed overgrown stands/rides.. As I said, up there with my favorites!
Now, I'm REALLY curious as to who exactly did what in this park, especially the architecture of the pool and around the vintage cars..
Good job guys..
I also liked the MM park, especially ideas like the lab and the alien being destroyed.. I just think the Canes park was of exceptional quality and it's too bad you guys were facing it..

Work within green lines- Gwazi

And he is where the park all got me started. See it for obvious reasons, ha:
I want to say thanks to Dr Dirt and Gwazi for being such awesome partners and really helping this park turn out to what it is.
Also thanks to everyone who voted for the Hurricanes and thanks for such great comments about the park! Always enjoy seeing my work payoff.
