Liampie congrats for the Port Royal area!
It's just stunning.
I don't like the coaster that much, but I think no coaster
would really fit in there. The rest is so beautiful and well
themed. Can't stop looking at it
Kudos. -

Yeah, I agree the Port Royal bit looks really nice, so that probably justifies the 15,79% you guys got for the park..
Liampie is definitely frontrunner for "sleeper of the year", "best newcomer" and/or "where did that come from?!"..
It's just a pity you guys couldn't complete it in time.. Your last match against the elementalists has become really interesting now, and I'm looking forward to that a lot
I'm really glad that we won this match, as it was more or less do or die.. It's indeed one of the best, if not the best, ll work I've seen.. The coasters, atmosphere, architecture and story/theme just blew me away! Awesome job guys.
Let's bring on the other matches!
SF
ps; lol at that video kumba, but indeed a bit cruel -

Just a little explanation on the whole idea, that wasnt showcased well because of time constraints, it didnt help that I went on holiday for a week and left it to the guys to finish up as there was a lot of work to be done.
It was meant to be a giant Aquarium and research centre. And instead of the fish being in tanks, the viewing areas were, that's why the glass walls.
The coaster was meant to have glass tunnels surrounding the parts that were submerged, but we ran out of time. And yeah.
The atlantis area is probably some of my worst work ever so not great to put in a H2H park but meh.
Well done AL. -

Quick breakdown of what each of us did:
Twisted - The village section at the bottom of the cliffs.
Panic - All of the coasters. Theming/landscaping around Snake in the Grass. Step Pyramid. Chaac station. City wall at the top of the map. Landscaped both of the cenotes/snake in the grass lift hill/out of city wall.
Loopy- All the larger buildings (Observatory, palace, entrance/chaac temple) Section of the suspended within the observatory. General landscaping. Entrance area.
General hacks (parrots, snakes etc) Shoestring mine train.
Had a real good time working on this park. Was nice working with both of you guys again.
The park was initially going to be peepable but due to time constraints as the deadline neared, we decided against it. A black hole appeared right at the deadline that I couldn't get rid of (in omens station). The entrance was initially invisible up until it glitched. -

Thanks for carrying the LL torch guys. I didn't think I'd ever see a park like this one again. With what the codex trainer can do, I think we've really only seen the tip of the iceberg as far as what that game can do. That's a pretty bold statement for such an old game, but the one park I made with that tool was like taking off the handcuffs for the first time. I wish I had the time to play around with it more myself. Not to take anything away from the great work people are doing in RCT2 too, but I got really happy when I saw this park. You guys make me proud. -

Thanks Ed it's really appreciated, especially from an LL legend such as yourself.
I agree that there is much, much more that can and will be achieved in the future. New ideas are developing all the time.
Now get playing again damnit -

Good to see you around Ed. And as an LL'er as well i agree. Theres much more to come from LL and with players such as Loopy, Panic and Twisted we have lots to look forwards to.
A cracking park from some of my favorite parkmakers and a well deserved win.
Aquatica was also a lovely park. A bit unfinished but an awesome idea which was for the most part executed well. I just feel sorry for you guys that it came up against Loopy, Twisted and Panic. -

Quite the cynical viewpoint there Todd. And, the sarcasm is duly noted. I guess one could look at it that way, although I would think that a team in a competition such as this (that is still in the running for a playoff spot) would possibly look at it not so much as hurting the other team...but, not hurting your own team as much. Then again.....I'm an optimist.
At least you didn't define it as "truly pathetic".
LOL, I'm glad you caught the sarcasm. And, thanks for fixing my 'truly pathetic' declaration in your post, I spelled it wrong the first go-round. I can see your point about not hurting your team as much, but that's all hindsight. Of course, I'm guessing that the Germans didn't know they were going to get blown out of the water (pun intended) with their park.
MA, I was being sarcastic, I guess I'd just rather see a team put forth the effort to build a park and submit it, rather than forfeit. I can say this as a specatator only, I have no vested interest in who wins or loses, it just doesn't matter to me. My kick comes from seeing the cool submissions, forfeits are no fun from my seat in the stands. -

I noticed Xlapak and Aquatica are the only H2H parks without banners on the homepage. Are these still to come?
