i will write an explanation about this when i wake up again. Why i have send it in too late . Now tips om the parks maybe? Thank you. Now i am going to bed. Goodnight. This is typed on my mobile phone. Sorry for that. -

the thing though is k0ng you did let it go in round one and the germans did get a shot at in actual match and i am pissed that my team was not afforded the same right.
So, you assumed that since we were so obliging in round 1 that you'd just take the chance that we'd be the same in round 3 and ignore the deadline? And, now you're pissed because it didn't work out that way? Good logic there. Besides, the Germans never threatened to quit H2H if they didn't get their way. That factored heavily in our vote. -

K0NG, you're thinking very irrationally. nowhere did chapelz say that he ignored the deadline on purpose, nor did he say that if he did ignore it it would have been because of your lenience to the Germans in Round 1.
maybe i missed something, but when did chapelz threaten to quit? besides, him quitting is useless since his team is already out anyway. -

k0ng you have no idea what i said, my stance has been that if we got dqed this round and got 0% of the vote i would not force my players to try and meet deadlines or submit parks. why? because they did not sign up to go down with a sinking ship. but let me get this straight though your idea to make a better competition was to effectively force a team out. bravo. -

K0NG, I have tried to be pretty understanding so far, but frankly, fuck it. You're pretty provocative, so here goes.
1) Round 1 didn't factor in our "decision" not to send in the park. Which wasn't even a team decision. That much has been stated in this topic already. Get your facts straight. HOWEVER. Now this has happened, a parallel can be drawn between this week and week 1, and that much is fair, I think.
2) Chris never threatened to quit if he didn't get his way. That much is pure bollocks. Stop posting bullshit.
3) Stop being a general fuckbucket. -

Alright, before this gets out of hand...
What we were told is that our round 3 matchup was encountering the same problems as our round 1 matchup. Originally, almost all of us voted for a forfeit, most likely because of sour feelings left over by a not-so-easy win after we voted to let the Germans play. After some deliberation, Posix and Gee came up with a few alternate solutions. I think most of us were pretty understanding, but in the end, it was the concensus that rules were rules, and that the Minutemen should have to forfeit. Nothing personal, just business. I hope you guys understand. I can, however, see why KONG is so pissed. We have submitted three parks that were barely complete (round 1 and 3 are arguably incomplete), and we haven't pulled anything like this. But in the end, it doesn't matter anyway.
I haven't checked out the Minutemen's park thouroughly yet, but it does look very nice. Great job to the parkmakers there. The wheel-lift on John Miller blew me away. Great job to our crew as well. I'm sure they would have liked to have it a bit more complete, but what's there is quality for sure. In my biased opinion, I still think I would have voted WhzzFest because I love so many of the ideas thrown in there. Nice job to everyone this round. -

Thank you posix for reposting that zip file and thanks Kumba for asking him.
Wow...minutemen! I wish this could have been a vote because I think you would have won. Really liked the park, it was well thought out, nice architecture and landscaping. The Whzz Kids park, while peep friendly and I love that, was flat, and waaay too much pathing, big boxy buildings, and haven't I seen that coaster before?
I wish the Minutemen the very very best in the next rounds, or are they completely out of it now? That sucks if they are. -

I think you guys are taking things to seriously, sure winning the matchup is great but the actual parks are more important.Who cares if you dont make it to the finals id rather see at least one decent park from each player than a bunch of shit ones at the end because people are upset with the contest -

Exactly the fact of all of this is Minute men produced the better park. You should be pleased with that outcome as it was an awesome bit of work. -

To be quite blunt, it was just a scumbag move to not let us send in a .sv6 that was done before a deadline.
You guys really have no excuse for it, the fact that it happened to you before is fucking retarded , you guys got lucky because right now you should honestly be 1-2, but enjoy your 3-0 and playoff spot, I don't care about this shit anymore. I really don't want to hear any of you guys say you play for fun and not fame anymore either, that's bullshit. -

To be quite blunt, we should be exactly where we are because two teams violated the rules. Plain and simple. There should have been no vote cast for anything, there should have just been two automatic DQ's for violating the rules. Like I said before, we should have just said, "hey, they broke the rules...don't ask US whether you should enforce them or not" in the first place instead of being nice to the FG's. I'm sure none of us thought it would come up again and ultimately turn us into "scumbags" for not doing it a second time.
@Gwazi&Turtle- Question marks generally indicate....yep, a question. Not a statement of fact. And, I only said that the Germans never threatened to quit. Nowhere did I say that anyone else did.
@chapelz- My idea to make a better competition is to play by the rules that are there. If not, why have them at all?
And, Turtle.....I'm not a general fuckbucket. I specialize -

1) you didnt have a question mark when you said that chapelz threatened to quit.
2) questions can be rhetorical, and they were obviously so in your post. therefore they were questions, but they were questions that were meant to support your argument (similar to stating a fact). -

1) you didnt have a question mark when you said that chapelz threatened to quit.
Please show me where I said that. -

I think he (as did I when I first read it) interpreted what you said as saying the germans never threatened to quit whereas the minutemen, namely chapelz, did, implicitly. it's a fair conclusion someone can draw from what you said:Besides, the Germans never threatened to quit H2H if they didn't get their way. That factored heavily in our vote.
so please, chill the fuck out. put things in perspective for a second. you are posting this on a fan-base site of an amusement park simulation game. also, even if it's a pain, whats done is done. so now you have all the more reason to produce some kickass parks for the home stretch. actions, not words. -
Gwazi Offline
^ that's the quote i was talking about. and i'm not sure any other way you could interpret that, as if you were merely trying to say the Germans didn't threaten to quit then there was absolutely no point to such an irrelevant statement. -
Micool Offline
i still don't have rct2, HOWEVER, both parks are looking nice, and the big tent in whzzkids' park is mighty keen. -
egg_head Offline
This is what we were told.
How can that be not interpretet as a threat to quit, when we not gonna let them break the rules like we let the germans.[...]and finding out the minutemen threaten to 'quit' if their park can't be used due to the germans being able to use theirs, [...]
Thing is, I was for letting the germans play in the first round. But when I found out now, this is gonna be used against us, I would have acted differently. If we would have voted for a proper matchup this time too, what message does that give to the other teams?
I don't know what is so wrong with just sticking to the rules of a contest. I think it's wrong of the admins to let us decide this, as they made the rules and should act after them.
I for one think, the Minutemen had the better park here and deserved to win. Too bad, they missed their chance to actually do so.
