Most parks you see advertised on NE are empty. Some have peeps, some don't. Many screens are "unfinished."

But never have I seen a park with so much life. You've managed to bring RCT3 full circle. You've managed to take advantage of every aspect of the game. From peep facial expressions, to natural lighting, and even ride close-ups.

This may end up being my favorite park of all time. Move over, WWAP, you've got competition!

^ i agree totally about how this is a great park, but what i'm going to post about relates to your point about advertising.

Most people here put no thought into how they present their park. To me, that seems they also didn't put much thought into their actual park and/or don't have any true decided direction or concept. I don't care how much skill, beauty or anything shown in screens... if the parkmakers themselves don't present something with professionalism, then more than likely, there wasn't much thought put into the actual park. Thus, my conclusion about such presentation is that there was little to no planning for the park, meaning nothing original will come from it, and also meaning; they will not possibly finish the park.

Take pride in your parks people. They are creations of your mind. When you share a park, you share a part of your mind.

BACK ON TOPIC: Coasterdude, best RCT3 park ever shown at NE imo. Please, keep it up.

^ Thanks FantastiCo and FullMetal. I try to make presentation one of my top priorities. I know I am more willing to follow a park with a story over one with just progress shots.

I may just use this quote a lot in this topic.

Today we took some aeriel shots of Carolina Calamity from above for the PR department.

The ride makes good use of its surroundings.

The ride drops under its own station.

A totem pole can be found in the middle of the second helix.

Another group of riders exit satisfied!

I have to say, while the job can be stressful, seeing everything come together makes it worth it.

You make all the stuff that people never think of look good, like the exit path and the totem pole. Some people would just make a path, but you put walls and trees up to make it looks better. People would also just put a totem pole there, but you put on rocks so it makes it seem more natural.

I love the station of the coaster but think the colors of the ride don't go very well with it's surroundings. Like APG1 said, you add a special touch to your work and I really like it. ;)

I just love how you keep showing the same rides but you make them look fantastic every single time.

I really like the mine train's station.

I love the rock retaining walls at the exit of Carolina Calamity. I want to run my hand across them as I walk down the path after a satisfying ride. God, I wanna touch it!

EDIT: Any word on the next coaster?

Thanks for the replies! Currently I've got a long list of things I gotta get done before I leave on a mission trip next Saturday, the main thing... rebuilding my coaster website. Plus my computer died yesterday! What a week... I'm trying to work on CGAP as often as I can but the ride that's coming in next year is taking longer to complete than expected. I'm really gonna try and have it out by next Saturday, though!
  • Alpengeistfan1%s's Photo
The park didn't die with the computer, did it?
  • coasterdude5%s's Photo
No, thankfully the park's on my laptop. This was my old desktop that died. But it still has alot of important files on it so I'm having to work on getting those back up.

Well it's February and we've had one hell of an off-season. While I cannot go into details (because that would ruin the upcoming announcement), I can tell you that we're very lucky to still be on schedule. I'm sure most of you have seen the News and Courier article by now, but if not I have attached a snippet below. I'm not sure how they got this close to the park, we're not exactly in the middle of the city. We will be investigating this more. Trespassing is not allowed.

It's beautiful! I love how you did the grey photo, as well!

My question is: If they got that close, why in the hell didn't they take more pictures!?
  • T.N.T.%s's Photo
HOLY BEEF! That's what you've been hiding?! How did you do that? :p

As expected, Michael, the reels are spectacular. There's no doubt in my mind that this little park will make millions someday! Keep up the work, kid; I can see the park's name in lights now...
