    21st Season

Wow! We're finally at the park's 21st season, which ironically, is the last season before the 21st century arrives! This year's addition has broken the park's skyline... by a longshot! You can see Rebellion from miles around. And as one of the very first riders, I can say with confidence, it is the most terrifying ride at Six Flags South Carolina. Let's take a look at it!

    Posted Image
As you can see, the park's skyline looks different!

    Posted Image
    The ride's logo is nice!

    Posted Image
The carriages seat four riders. You can ride with your friends!

    Posted Image
The carriages slowly rise to the top of the ride's highest point of 260 feet. You get a great view of the surrounding area!

    Posted Image
The anticipation builds as you near the top of the tower. You might find yourself asking, "Why did I do this?"

    Posted Image
As your carriage pauses at the top, seconds will seem like minutes. You might even close your eyes!

    Posted Image
Once the carriages are released, it's not so bad! But you do have a ways to go before you're back to Earth!

    I'll have more soon!

I would have prefferred a roto drop, but this ride is still cool.

Oh cool, another custom ride. First, a floorless CTR and now a traditonal style giant drop.

    21st Season

Rebellion is a hit! Lines for the ride have exceeded 2 hours this weekend! People really want to know what it's like to freefall 26 stories!

    Posted Image
    That's quite a view!

    Posted Image
The tower is visible from just about anywhere in the park.

    Posted Image
    Today was another crowded day!

    Posted Image
    We can't forget about Undertaker!

I'm looking forward to this season!

Is there any real reason as to why you used custom trains for the floorless? They look hideous, surely the normal ones would have been perfectly alright.
  • Bolliger & Mabillard%s's Photo
I dunno, the custom trains look more realistc.
  • Dotrobot%s's Photo
Maybe some a/c vents on top? If you can
  • coasterdude5%s's Photo
The floorless trains will get even better in the future.

    21st Season

The 21st season continues and so far the crowds have been steady. The lines for Rebellion can still surpass the 2 hour mark! Hopefully that will die down as the season progresses. Sometimes I feel brave enough to want to ride it again!

A nice view across the lake never hurt anyone.

    Posted Image
Derecho's new paint job looks great - the ride looks brand new (almost).

    Posted Image
I reported some time ago that Washout would be leaving. Those plans have apparently been cancelled. We need the rides to stick around longer!

    Posted Image
Batman is still a hit with guests!

    Posted Image
I better get out of the way!

    Have a great day!

    I think they're just covered.

And that man on the first screen must have the ability to walk through tables.

    21st Season

We're in the dead heat of the summer. The crowds are heavy, the lines are long, and there's little rain to give us any relief.

    Posted Image
    The days are hazy...

    Posted Image
Coaster riding isn't as fun when it's this sweltering.

    Posted Image
That doesn't stop me from taking a spin on Undertaker, though!

    Posted Image
I've heard that we may see an even bigger coaster come to the park within the next three years.

    Posted Image
Once the sun begins to set, the temperature falls ever so slowly.

I'm ready for the fall season!

an even bigger coaster right after a Floorless? Interesting.
  • Bolliger & Mabillard%s's Photo
Maybe you should add a water park to solve the heat problem. As for the coaster. hyper or giga? We'll have to wait and find out.

No more Superman coasters. That was so fucking gay. It would be intresting to see a Morgan Giga. Maybe call it Steel Storm.

    21st Season

I've been hearing a lot of things about next season. Some are saying to expect something small, while others are saying that Six Flags is going big for the new millenium. I'll keep you updated.

A new eatery has opened next to Rebellion.

    Posted Image
Rebellion attracts even more attention at night.

    Posted Image
If you're scared of heights, it might be a little easier to ride at night.

    Posted Image
We can't forget about the other side of the park!

    Posted Image
Vulture has gotten pretty rough over the years. It's a classic, though!

A coaster with a legitimate name and (somewhat) distinct theme is much better than one with a generic name that gives off no theme or story at all.
